I had the vegetable plate?turnip greens, fried okra and fried apples. My husband had the chicken pot pie. So good.
Absolutely delicious! You won't regret the short hop off I-40 to the good food and superb service. Love it!
Highly NOT RECOMMENDED. We had 5 adults and 4 children, and was told it would be a 20 minute wait. Ended up being 50 minutes to... be seated. When we were finally seated, we had our drink orders and food orders all ready to give to the waitress. Turns ourthat drinks and food orders are taken by different people. Ok, we are Yanks, guess folks do things differently out here. Drinkscame, eventually food for 3 adults and 2 of the children. No food came for the others. We waited another 30 MINUTES, and my cokehad not been refilled. Couldn't get anyone's attention so I walked out to the hostess out in the store and told her I neededanother coke, and where is the food for the rest of my family? Another 25 minutes goes by and the waitress drops off thischarcoaled chicken in front of my wife. She had ordered grilled chicken. I called for the manager and was comped, she said thatthe kitchen totally lost the second half of our food order. She offered to replace my wife's chicken but after being there for 21/2 hours, we were over it. We had an event to attend and were quite late as it was. Avoid at all coats. Read more
NO. JUST NO. As someone who has worked in food service and hospitality I would NEVER recommend anyone to this restaurant. I... ordered my food in advance which was very simple, but getting was terrible. MY FOOD WAS THREE HOURS OLD. IT HAD BEEN SITTINGTHERE SINCE I ORDERED IT. I ordered it to be picked up in advance not for it to sit out in the heat of the store for three oddhours. My ice tea was hot. My 'crispy fried food' was more like greasy mush, my ice cream was hot liquid. Why would I even thinkof eating it. Trust me if you want to stay safe stay as far away from here as possible. Read more
