Absolutely delicious! You won't regret the short hop off I-40 to the good food and superb service. Love it!

Highly NOT RECOMMENDED. We had 5 adults and 4 children, and was told it would be a 20 minute wait. Ended up being 50 minutes to... be seated. When we were finally seated, we had our drink orders and food orders all ready to give to the waitress. Turns ourthat drinks and food orders are taken by different people. Ok, we are Yanks, guess folks do things differently out here. Drinkscame, eventually food for 3 adults and 2 of the children. No food came for the others. We waited another 30 MINUTES, and my cokehad not been refilled. Couldn't get anyone's attention so I walked out to the hostess out in the store and told her I neededanother coke, and where is the food for the rest of my family? Another 25 minutes goes by and the waitress drops off thischarcoaled chicken in front of my wife. She had ordered grilled chicken. I called for the manager and was comped, she said thatthe kitchen totally lost the second half of our food order. NO. JUST NO. As someone who has worked in food service and hospitality I would NEVER recommend anyone to this restaurant. I... ordered my food in advance which was very simple, but getting was terrible. MY FOOD WAS THREE HOURS OLD. IT HAD BEEN SITTINGTHERE SINCE I ORDERED IT. I ordered it to be picked up in advance not for it to sit out in the heat of the store for three oddhours. My ice tea was hot. My 'crispy fried food' was more like greasy mush, my ice cream was hot liquid. Why would I even thinkof eating it. Trust me if you want to stay safe stay as far away from here as possible. Read more

I cannot express how absolutely horrendous the food was. My family has lived here in Lebanon all our lives, and Cracker Barrel... usually delivers on all fronts- until now. All the food we ordered took over 20 minutes to come out, all the more complimentedby a neglectful server who barely took our meager requests for a straw or more hot water. We asked twice for our bacon and eggsto be fixed, much to our dismay they couldn't even cook either right. My chicken came out what I could only explain as thricefried it was so hard and dry, not to mention I nearly choked on my biscuit it was so chalky. The grits were soupy and eggsrubbery, with nothing to show for the hospitality that we usually receive for our troubles. Learn my lesson ordered the cheddar broccoli chicken special. It was the smallest single chicken breast I've seen (see attached... photo). It looked a little bigger because of the broccoli, but not much. This wasn't a one time thing either another member ofmy party ordered the same thing and received a similar sized portions. Waiter could care less when I tried to say something gaveus the plates and walked away, and really didn't do anything in a customer service manner. When I checked out I brought it up tothe cashier I was told I don't know anything like that or about it today is my first day. She wasn't even willing to get someoneelse. I highly recommend ordering your holiday meal from Cracker Barrel IF you are like me and do not feel like cooking for days. I... order from them every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
