Went here with my grandchildren. There were 5 of us. We had the buffet except for the 9 year old. She had some fries and a small... sprite. Our bill was $80.56. Four buffet and an order of fries. Her drink was as much as the adults. Will never go here again. Ican't afford to. For nearly $20 each I can get a good meal somewhere else. The staff were nice and it was clean is why I gave 2stars. Very friendly and clean lots of people but no waiting for seats. Daisy took good care of us kept our glasses full and cleaned... the dishes quickly. Buffet was hot and food fresh. Much to choose from. Price was low for a Sunday Compared to other places. Nomask required. Read more
Came in for buffet and wow. Nothing like the old Shoney?s experience. The buffet food was worse quality than cafeteria food;... absolutely no seasoning. Corn tasted like water. Rolls were inedible so we asked our waiter to bring more. They brought more butI couldn?t chew them. I?ve left a pic of the rolls below. This Shoney?s makes Golden Corral look good. Read more
Excellent food, and service staff. It was super busy and the personnel on site were very friendly and professional. Will... definitely recommend the buffet as that's the thing to get. They were in constant restock mode and nothing ran out even with ahouse full of hungry Easter goers. Excellent job everyone!! Read more
we went on Tues morn. not crowded. food buffet was well stocked. good selection. the staff was all wearing masks. a few... customers were also. they offered plastic gloves to use utensils, which I did each time, didn't see anyone else use them. handsanitizer was on each table. great price for the amount of food we ate. staff very attentive. be aware this Shoney's isprivately owned and does not participate in the Shoney's rewards program. Tom's pick and Shoney's it was. I have not been to this place in almost 20 years ago on the other side of Tennessee. I was not... much for the Buffett, for I really only am a fish and veggie kind of girl. It did look fresh and I'm sure if the country cookingis your thing, then it may have been perfect. Tom got some crazy 2 story cheese burger with bacon and fries. I got blackenedsalmon with teriyaki with rice and onion rings, I was allowed the salad bar and cold foods. Tom enjoyed his burger and I wassurprised to enjoy my salmon and onion rings. I had some pudding and strawberry with bananas. The tea here is tasty also, andour waitress Alyssa was most excellent! I was very pleased with my food and beverage? I ordered the chicken strips and 2 sides ? Mash potatoes and Mac&Cheese, and a... half gallon of sweet tea. The chicken strips were served hot and delicious with a nice crispy breading to compliment it?stenderness! The mash potatoes and macaroni both seemed very fresh, perfect amount of cheese on the macaroni and the potatoesnice combo of fluffy and creamy. The tea was prepared nicely too!
