I heard amazing things about this place and saw the reviews so I was expecting great things. I was so disappointed with the... food. It was bland and grease tasting. Had the goyza and fried rice with chicken. The chicken was fried chunks on top of thefried rice. I was able to salvage it with duck sauce that had some chili flakes in it to add taste. We were going to try the barbecue place down the street, but they were closed for remodeling. With Hurricane Ian expected the... next day, some places had chosen to close early, and there were limited options available. I had been unsure about this place,because I'm not into sushi, and the reviews gave me the impression that's mostly what it was, but I decided we would give it atry. My husband was doing keto, so I hoped we could find him a low-carb option. When we arrived, we were told we could sitanywhere, so we picked a table by a wall that appeared to be covered in hedges. We were given menus promptly, and our drinkorders were taken. After much deliberation, I settled on the garlic shrimp, which came with my choice of white or fried rice (Ichose fried), and a side of broccoli. My husband got a Greek salad and added shrimp. The iced tea was very weak, so we may aswell have been drinking water. But I must say that I was extremely happy with my food! The sauce they use on that garlic shrimpis nothing short of amazing! I ended up ordering a side of the sauce so I could put more on my shrimp as well as drench my riceand broccoli with it. My stomach hasn't been that happy in a long time. My husband thought his food was very good as well. I'mnot sure why the place is named as it is....I'd say their main focus is Japanese and Chinese food with the exception of theGreek salad, but regardless, we very much look forward to eating there again the next time we're in the area! My dish was good in flavor & quality, though the broccoli & steak were cold. My guests were underwhelmed with their dishes. Not... much for the price. Sad to say, not sure if our waitress was having a bad day or not, but we didn't feel welcomed by her. Wefelt like a bother just being there ????. I love this job it so amazing and it have amazing worker in kitchen including Chef and best servers who do take out call. And... bring menu to customer and drink and bring food out.sushi have amazing workers and bartender are amazing. I absolutely love World Fusion! I adore sushi rolls but am not one to eat rice and the biggest difficulty I have found when at... most sushi restaurants is the inability from the establishment to make rolls without the rice. However anytime I go to WorldFusion and order any roll on the menu without rice they always exceed expectations and it is always fresh and delicious. Let me start by saying the sushi at World Fusion is always amazing and I really enjoy trying the monthly specials. Today I tried... the blackened Grouper taco roll a monthly special and yellowtail crunch. They didn't disappoint. Our server Jordan wasattentive, cheerful and helpful. I came back again today 2/8 to try a February special sushi roll, The Who Shot Cupid roll, aswell as an all time favorite, Tempura Philly. I was dining alone so I sat at the bar. Lane suggested several drinks that wouldpair well with my choices and ultimately made me a strawberry sake mix, that was light pink and refreshing. Jordan served mysushi and as usual, her recommendation for a monthly special was spot on. Great experience! For newcomers, this is a must tryhidden gem. Read more
It is lovely inside and out and not very big. You can watch the sushi chefs make the dishes. On the dining side the bar side is... smaller and very quaint. Outside is very nice as well. Service was very good! Everyone is very helpful. Especially explainingthe dishes. Which in sushi world, cooked or not cooked LOL one of my favorites is the volcano which is overpouring. I believe itwas the dragon that was also very good but we got a variety and shared and had plenty to go home with! Enjoy and don't miss thisspecial little place.
