We held our wedding reception at the Bay Pony Inn. The food and service were exceptional. All of our guests commented about... how delicious and hot the food was. Florence and her staff were friendly and attentive to every detail. Everything was exactlyhow we wanted it. I am so glad we chose The Bay Pony Inn for this special day. Went for our anniversary, first night out in a while and wanted to try somewhere new and decided on Bay Pony Inn. Nice place,... service was ok. Food was ok at best for the prices, Ceasar salad was lacking dressing, the filet was overcooked, ribeye wasgood. The apple crumb pie looked almost like a frozen pie from the store and was served like it just came out of the freezer.For 150 for dinner for two, one would expect better quality. Mother's Day brunch buffet with the perfect combination of delicious, perfectly prepared foods. Everything from French toast to... mussels, fresh fruit, salad, Danish, variety of cakes and fresh whipped cream. Did I mention the quiche!! Foods were cut in easyto manage portions, which was perfect for the children in our group, and made it easy to take some of everything. And, sinceit's a buffet, we cpuld go back for more. Service was excellent. And, the restaurant is beautiful. From the bright, airy diningroom with buffet, to the beautifully decorated old train car (both in use during holiday buffets or parties only) to the rusticbar and main dining area. Sunday brunch crowd was not bad. Seated right away. The buffet had fruit, bacon, sausage, potatoes, waffles, breads, fish and... chicken. For $21.99 each all you could eat plus eggs cooked to order, omlets or eggs Benedict. Coffee, juice or soda was alsoincluded. Mimosas were extra. The restaurant was clean and had plenty of help.
