My mom and I went for dinner here tonight, and I want to start by saying: 1. The food and drinks were delicious! 2. Nothing... that happened was the server's fault, she was slammed. It was a management issue. Like I said, our server was SLAMMED. We feltso bad for her! It seemed like there were only two servers in the entire lounge, which is obviously not enough for a Fridaynight. She was run off her feet. As a result, we had to wait quite a bit of time for our drinks and food. By the time we got ourappetizers, the table next to us, who sat down the same time as us, had already finished their dinner. The gentleman (It waseither the manager or the owner) who delivered our food to us didn't apologize for the wait or ask if we needed anything else.We never got the chance to order more drinks. It was clear that there hadn't been enough servers / bartenders scheduled, and itreally affected the quality of service we received. Read more
Good service by pleasant staff. The ribs that I ordered were good but the accompanying vegetables were OUTSTANDING! I was served... perfectly tender crisp and flavourful asparagus, carrots and roasted beets along with tasty garlic mashed potatoes. My partnersprime rib was rare exactly as he ordered it and even the Yorkshire pudding was pretty decent. I would definitely go back againanother time when visiting the area. Read more
Took the old man to the Sawmill for his birthday supper (He wanted to try an Alberta steak before we made the long drive back to... Nova Scotia) and we were not disappointed! One of, if not the best steak we've ever had, Highly recommend! Read more

Two reviews Brunch review: 1 star Saw the big sign for Sunday brunch earlier in the week, and was excited to hit it up. Arrived... Sunday shortly after 11am to discover they are not open until 3pm. I'm a big brunch fan, and this is an odd time to open forbrunch. Nothing worse than pulling on closed doors when your hungry and looking forward to food. Maybe block or take down thehuge Sunday brunch sign, would show value to your customers. There were three other people who showed up and did the samething. #simple fix #customer service #false advertising Came back for dinner: 4 stars Nice place, great atmosphere, andawesome menu! I was a bit undecided, so I went with undecided ( that's what it's called) steak, shrimp and ribs. All in all agreat meal, quality food, and their sesame sauce is wicked! I did order a rare steak and got a medium, but still tasted great.And was given a ceasar that wasn't on the menu that I didn't order, but was replaced with no issues. And I stole some Yorkshire pudding from my friends plate, and that was also on point. Would definitely go here again! Overall 3 stars for both of myexperiences. Read more
Poor service, yes it was a bit busy for Friday but that shouldn't mean having a different person come to the table almost every... time and taking a little more than 2 hours to have a meal. People sat after us and were done eating before us. Food portions aredef smaller than before, but it was good tasting. (+1 star for the quality) Old fashioned thinking older male server, reallyspoiled the atmosphere towards the end for us. Will not be coming back, not very open minded to some of us sitting there.
