I got the chicken Cajun burger. The price was $17.99. it most definitely was not worth that. Not just fast food restaurants lie... on the pictures. I'm just going to say the burger was small and I only gat a SMALL portion of fries. It tasted good butdefinitely not worth the price. Read more
I had the chicken fettuccine. I don't care for chicken with fettuccine I would rather have shrimp, so I didn't eat the chicken,... but the fettuccine was all right. My husband had the beef dip and it comes in two great big chunks of bread with nice tenderroast beef and some beef broth and my husband thoroughly enjoyed it. I had breakfast here & it was great. I ordered the "two egg" breakfast & the eggs were properly cooked to my preference, along... with lightly spiced sausages, & cubed fried potatoes. The coffee was good. The server was friendly, polite, & efficient. Itwasn't busy when I visited. The menu offerings were competitively priced. I recommend this restaurant based on my experiencethere. We went there and our food was all horrible. We ordered a 20 dollar burger and paid more for a poutine. It was disgusting and... cold and the poutine had like 10 fries... So 24 bucks in the trash. The soup was cold and gross and my daughter loves pancakesand wouldn't even touch them. The sausage looked like it had been sitting there all day, they were burnt and the eggs were sogross none of us could choke them down. I literally never send things back or complain but this was the worst food experiencemaybe I've ever had at a restaurant. When we asked the server what the soup was she said she "had never heard of it before...That it was some kind of pablano cheesy soup", shrugged and said "I don't really know". I'd give it negative stars. I'll nevergo to Smitty's again. Times are tough and it was hard to even convince ourselves to go out and we regret it. Alot of buyersremorse. We sent the poutine back and my partner choked down the burger... But the rest sat on the plates. My poor kid wasstarving and she's really not that picky.
