I visited David Burke for lunch specifically to try their saltbrick prime dry aged burger. Both me and my husband ordered one... and I was very surprised at how large the burger is. The pictures don't do it justice. Ours were cooked exactly as we orderedand the patty was very tender and soft. The toppings were good as well and I really enjoyed the pickles, they had an amazingflavor! The bun was a tad soft for me but it didn't take away at all from the burger itself. The real sleeper here was thefries. They are battered and fried, I believe, and they were probably the crispiest fries I have ever eaten. If you don't getthe burger, get something with the fries, it's worth it! Considering the price is fairly low for a meal and burger this largeat a steakhouse, I would definitely recommend stopping by for lunch and grabbing one of their burgers. Had lunch here, been meaning to try this place all these years. Good meal, nothing amazing. I did get a steak to try.... Unfortunately nothing jumped out about it. Just a well cooked piece of meat. Their prefix menu looks like a decent value. Irather Ruth Chris with the hot plate that keeps your steak warm throughout your meal. Food was filling though. Phenomenal experience!! While the prices are not cheap you truly get what you pay for. The waiter we had, Stefan, was excellent.... Everything was plated well, presentation was great, flavor was very good. Asked for meat temps were perfect. Wine and drinkswere excellent. Dessert was great and the dessert wine/liquor selection was very good. Cannot recommend this place highlyenough. We will definitely be back. Read more
My wife and I really enjoyed our experience. The table side Caesar is a must! The steaks were cooked perfect and tasted amazing.... The sides were also delicious having the mashed and macaroni & cheeses. Their braised beef has tons of flavor! As you can tell,we were satisfied enough to go a few times in a row. Atmosphere is nice, the presentation of some of the foods is unique, however some of the food is just okay. I was really... surprised. This goes for the crab cakes and the short ribs, but my prime rib was cooked perfectly and the 1/2 chicken wasdevoured by my son. He liked it a lot. It was pretty good. Drinks were good too. This is not by any means a top steak destination. Overall the experience was good. Oysters were great. Shrimp was great. Service... was fast and I had 2 servers. Awesome. But the Steak was just OK. It was $75 which is a standard price for the cut of Ribeye 55days dry age. Just blah though.Sides were brought on same plate which is strange for fine dining. I ordered an Espresso Martini.It was awful. I ordered some Pear martini and it was great. Wine selection was great if you are buying a bottle. By the glassvery limited. If you have some money to spend for just an ok experience then it's the place for you. I ate alone this eveningand my bill with tip was $320. Wouldn't care at all if the steak was perfect. Read more
We went today to go enjoy our anniversary. We knew it was a little on the pricey side... however the portion and quality... completely makes up for it. The entire place was clean and bright. Staff was energetic and friendly. Table side service for anamazing Manhattan and Ceasar salad were quite the experience. Don't forget to get the bacon!!!
