Sugar Factory is our go-to birthday or special occasion restaurant for our kids! Beyond the name being ?Sugar? factory, the menu... has a lot of kid friendly options, but surprisingly no kid menu. The menu is great for sharing. All drinks can be madenonalcoholic, which is great. I would highly recommend making a reservation online, as I have seen lengthy lines at times. Someof the tables are quite small- I definitely think you have the best experience in a booth or towards the back (we always end upnear the door to the kitchen).We haven?t tried the milkshakes yet, but I believe those will be on our next trip! Let me tell you I did not expect what happened here. It looked a little too upscale for my tastes but boy was I wrong. The... atmosphere was absolutely amazing the staff was wonderful. The macaroni and cheese pops were delicious. We got two differentkind of burgers and a steak and let me tell you I should have just got one Burger because their burgers are so incredibly bigwith a generous portion of fries. The pictures just do not do it justice. Sugar factory burger was juicy and very tasty. It was quite big as well and french... fries were just right. The Sugar Factory sandwich was also quite good and quite big as well. Unfortunately, we didn't haveroom for dessert which we really wanted to try. The pictures on the menu left us wanting and craving the items. Maybe nexttime. Definitely a must try and such beautiful dessert creations. Service would of been a bit better. Our waitressdisappeared and we were waiting for her for a while in order to order. when we were finally done eating, waiting for her to getthe check also took a while. Another waitress saw us waiting and came over to assist instead. It was disappointing consideringthat we came to eat on an off hour so it really wasn't all that busy. Other than this, food was great. Steak was cheap meat and over cooked as I asked for med rare. Tasted so rubbery, didn't finish it. Home fries was pretty good.... Our waitress was great. Dessert/ Mocha coffee was delicious. Read more

My 1st time at the sugar factory and I absolutely enjoyed myself. The staff was real knowledgeable of of the product and... recommended nice appetizers and drinks. And It was a lively experience. It was my birthday. I will never forget the experiencethat I had, I will always recommend this place to friends and family. After we got off the beach we stopped at Foxwoods to find something to eat. We saw the Sugar Factory had a sit down restaurant... and thought it would be fun after seeing some of their pictures online. We went there about 3 pm and were seated right away. Wesat in a little nook called the pink room, or something like that. The tables and chairs were all wobbly. Our server wasfriendly and attentive. Our food came out in good time and tasted fine. I had a burger that was served with fresh fillers, andthe fries were lite or thin? even a bit wimpy. We saved room for dessert. The chocolate cake and berry cheesecake were coveredwith sugary sauces and a sweet whipped cream. The bill came to $40 per person. With dessert, I think that?s pretty average. Wedidn?t have any of their famous alcoholic drinks. We ordered soft drinks. The glass for the drinks was probably not even halfthe size of a normal restaurant?s but the server kept it full. This is a very popular spot at Foxwoods Casino. Reservations full up fast at when we got there, they were fully booked. They do... have a waiting area, which is first come, first serve. The wait was not bad when we went however, the wait time can vary dueto peak hours. The service was fact as there was two of us. The menu is outstanding as there are so many amazing things tochoose from. Your eyes will be bigger than your stomach. We were near the kitchen so, with every try that came out of there, itwas definitely an eye catching moment. The food was good. Prices are more on the higher end but worth EVERY DOLLAR!!
