Over the past 50+ years in this location pizza has been served! When I was young I used to ride my bike 5+ miles just eat a... large house special, all by my self. We recently had a family gathering there after a memorial service. It brought back memoriesof past visits, and a time when my relatives would fill the front table locations in the morning for coffee, family chatter, and offer work to us young guys. ;) Times change but glad something familiar remains in one form or the other. The pizza was excellent. Great sauce, great crust, and the meat, sausage and pepperoni, had excellent flavor. The service was... disappointing. My bread with oil came out at the same time as the pizza. I ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza, and for thefirst time in my life (and I've ordered a LOT of pizza) it came out half and half. The server never checked back on me and mydrink remained empty. The food alone would get five stars but service cost a star. Read more
I was very pleased with the friendliness of the staff. They checked on us often. My date was impressed as well with his food.... He ordered off menu and loved the chicken dish. I had the manicotti. Serendipitously the sauce was in a heart shape. Such a goodsign for such a great place. I also enjoyed the garlic bread! Read more
