This is down from my 5-star review of a few years ago. It pains me to do this because I don't like to leave negative reviews,... but it is very sad how far this place has dropped quality wise. The servers were fine and friendly, the food was low quality andpoorly prepared...the flatbread "special" I ordered was horrible. The burgers barely passable and way overcooked. The coatedfries were hot and crispy. This used to be one of our favorite places, but we have been twice lately and both times it has beenjust plain bad. I don't know if there was an ownership change or they just don't care any longer. Prices were "okay" if the foodwas better. A burger and fries is $14. The flatbread special (roughly the size of a large slice of pizza) was $13 with potatochips. I hope they turn things around...if they care and want to. Might be a good place to watch a game and have a cold drink. Read more
Some good things going for this place - they have television and they have beer. Food is remarkably bad for "The Berkshire's... Best Sports Bar." My wife and I stopped in today and everyone seemed confused and frazzled. How hard is it to cook acheeseburger? I can help if you need staff. They are serving up low end Sysco burgers and soggy fries. (BTW - I can also showyou how to cut potatoes - not as hard as one might think!!) Won't be going back. Read more
Service at the bar was great! Fun place to hang. Food was filling, but not that great. I ordered the bar-B-Q chicken sandwich... and it was grilled chicken with sauce; I was expecting actual bar-B-Q. My onion rings were fried so hard I couldn't eat them.Maybe there was a lot going on in the kitchen that night ??????? I'll still come back, but wouldn't order those items again. Read more
We always come here when we are staying at Oak & Spruce resort. Nice sports bar with decent food and drinks. The bartender... Flossie was nothing short of AMAZING!! Not only did she efficiently handle all of the patrons sitting at the bar but she alsohandled the service bar for the wait staff which means that she single handedly took care of every single patron in therestaurant. She made it seem so easy and did it efficiently AND with a friendly smile and professional attitude. I honestlydon't remember EVER meeting such a top notch bartender. Hats off to Flossie!! The food is consistently good and the wait staff is excellent. Good pub food- burgers, pizza, sandwiches, We have stopped here... numerous times this summer and the young women who work here are super friendly. On our way to Albany and needed a bite. Requests for Tenders and onion rings so stopped at the Locker Room. Our order was ready... when we got there and staff was great Tenders and onion rings were hot and delish. Read more
