Hi friends! Perry & I decided to try out the National Public House Restaurant today AKA ( The twisted thistle) It was delicious!... We got there early 3:00 but they weren?t open yet but still left us in for a drink at the bar. We were met at the door with ChefAddison and owners Cory and Shaun they were so welcoming, just love those guys, so nice and personable! Perry ordered the salmonthat was on the menu, needless to say his dish was bare when he was done. I was so hungry for a Good n Sloppy grilled cheesesandwich that WASN'T on the menu but Chef Addison whipped me up the best grilled cheese I ever had, with bacon, grilled veggiesand cheese!! Please give the National Publicity House a try you won?t be disappointed . Stop in for a drink just to see whatthey?ve done to this beautiful restaurant/ bar. Bartender Angela is a sweetheart and the owners could not be more down to earth.With a beautiful setting, great owners and staff, food was perfect you can?t go wrong!! Beautiful decor and amazing food! The servers were very friendly!
I gave it a five stars because I have been there many times and I love it and the food, but this time I was disappointed because... they were having a wedding and we had to sit in the bar. They should have told me when I called and I would have planned tocome another Saturday. We wanted to sit in the main dining room by the fireplace. My advice to all businesses is be honest withyour customers. They appreciate the honesty. Read more
I have wanted to go here since they opened and my husband and I finally made it! I had the chicken marsala, he had the steak... with mash and brussel sprouts. We also ordered dragon noodles with shrimp to go. Everything was very good and we are excited toreturn and try other menu options. Read more
Really cool atmosphere semi classy / rustic. I went for the bloody Mary open bar. They had a lot of options and for 25$ all you... can drink bloody Mary's for about 6 hrs you cant beat. It was.....ok...... all in all I plan on going back but not for thebloody Mary's ??????? Read more
Twisted Thistle is one of those gems that you keep hidden in mind, to come back to for special occasions! Upon walking through... the door, one is immediately taken back to another era. The architecture was beautiful and I am sad that I did not take the timeto enquire about its history. Although, not inexpensive, I still felt I received good value because of the quality of food.
