I saw such wonderful reviews and was very excited to try their food. It. Was. Terrible. The waitress was very rushy and rude.... The chicken was super dry and chewy. I couldn't even finish it. I took only a few bites before I gave up since it was notedible. The rice had no flavor. It cost way too much for food that wasn't edible. I'm so very disappointed. Please do notget chicken here. I have no idea how they have got such a high rating. Just paid $25 for a repackaged seaweed salad from Costco and the tiniest... spicy tuna hand roll I have ever had. I live in southern CA and get more food for my money there. This place is an absolutejoke. Read more
I go here at least once or twice a month for lunch as it is pretty close to my office. I have enjoyed everything I have had... immensely except for the General Tso's chicken which I should have known may not be the best at a Japanese restaurant. Sushi isawesome for a small town joint and their hibachi is good as well. Give Izumi a shot! You will not regret it. Read more
Very generous portions of salmon in the 3 roll special! Also our waitress was very nice and funny. I love how they actually... bring out the ginger and yum yum sauces to the table so you can have as much as you need. The sushi fell apart a little as I waseating it, so that’s why I’m not giving it 5 stars - but that did not take away from how yummy it was! Great place to get aquick lunch. Read more
Not welcoming at all. Not a word welcoming when arrived. (It's Saturday around late afternoon, which there was only one table... when we arrived). Since there's no sign or any words to us, so we didn't know we had to wait for seat or what, then we walked toeither host or server in front and she just suddenly said "wait!",... isn't it a bit rude?!? Or maybe we're Asian so, theydidn't feel welcome? (I saw her smiling to other customers who were American though). The food has pretty small portion due tothe price. The taste is okay to so so. And when we only finished half, then another server came to put the bill already. Noteven ask if we would like any dessert. Well, FIRST and LAST time visiting this place. NOT RECOMMENDED if you are Asian and visiton Saturday like us. Read more
