The food was delicious server's and staff were all very nice it was the food and restaurant highlight of my visit. I would boost... it to a 5 star and probably does deserve the 5th star I do feel the food was a little pricey for the portion size but was verydelicious. We had the crab cakes, a lobster roll, half dozen oysters, for dessert the bread pudding, cheeseburger fries and fishand chips for the kids. Wonderful environment and staff very delicious food! If you love oysters, this the place for you! Great craft cocktails too! If oysters are not your thing, there are plenty of other... items to choose from. Husband had the fish and fries platter. Was very tasty. Highly recommend and looking forward to my nextvisit. Read more
Was greeted! Seated! Food came out pretty fast! We ate appetizers first. Po boys second. The oyster po boy was great! The crab... dip was good it just needed more seasoning. Hush puppies was a no for me. I need them to be a littler more sweeter. The hostsprayed tables and sprayed my arm and leg. ???? he apologized. But the overall experience was good. We felt welcomed. AMAZING! KING st Oyster bar. There is no other word to describe this fabulous bar. Since we arrived until we paid the service... was perfect. I couldn?t be more happy with the freshness and delicious food flavor. Raw Oysters amazing!!! On the flip side,the Ahi tuna tacos were so good! The tuna and salmon was seared perfectly and the cucumber wasabi dressing added a nicerefreshing flavor with a little kick. Just a wonderful dish! You know, I pray that one day we can go to restaurants and get adequate service. Tonight my fiancé and I decided to go to this... establishment while we are visiting. Upon entering the hostess was so friendly. She sat us in Josh?s section. We ordered andeverything was all good until it wasn?t. I ordered the lobster roll and didn?t realize it was just one mini roll with justlobster meat and bread. ( ????????) My fiancé ordered a po boy which was on the same type of bread as the lobster roll so itwas tiny as well. Our problem isn?t even with the food though. Our problem is our waiter failed to check on us but checked oneveryone else consistently. My fiancé sat needing a refill our entire entree and dessert. We literally had to ask. We stackedour plates so the waiter could know we were finished with our appetizer and entree and it wasn?t until the hostess came did youcome. The hostess brought us our check at the end of the meal and that was the last straw for me. As someone who?s worked inrestaurant management a few years I know how judgemental people can be and o most definitely believe Josh made an assumptionabout us and missed out of my gifting night( once a week I give a server $100 on top of their tip just because) The vibe of therestaurant was cool, but the food was simply Ok and my waiter sucked. Very good food, full of flavor and good portions. The seafood pasta was very delicious and filling. The parmesan crusted snapper... was cooked to perfection. I would would get a side of mashed potatoes to go along with it. For desert the bread pudding wasamazing!!! This is a must stop if in the area. Read more
