I visited on a business trip and was a fresh and fun lunch. Loved the edamame and the spicy sushi options. Not usually a sushi... fan but it was very good and the service was awesome. I'm sure a sushi person would give it a five star... Just not a sushiguy.. but would totally come again.. maybe if I lived here i would be a sushi guy soon enough, great restraunt. Read more
We were here with daughter & son in law a couple weeks back. We helped move my daughter out after their wedding. What wonderful... food & my daughter who is a celiac can actually eat sushi here which is so nice. We ate both sushi & sashimi & they were great!Leo did the teriyaki steak & tempura shrimp, which was also good! Read more
I am celiac. I came here to get a variety of Gluten Free sushi and they delivered!! There was SO many options and all the GF... rolls were amazing. Usually GF rolls are pretty plain or basic, but I was excited to not miss out of the cool, flavorful sushi.It was a good experience! Read more
It’s a very nice date night for my wife & I. I planned a quick bites at a local brewery. However, they were under staffed and... turned us away. Lucky for us, we stumbled on Tsunami at Lehi. Our server, Nate was very courteous and attentive to our order. Wemade it quick since it’s close to closing time. We ordered a Kirin Ichiban beer from Japan to pair with our sushi dinner. Aseaweed salad with two bowls of miso soup. The salad tasted good but the soup was cold. We also ordered a Dragon roll and aSpider roll. Both rolls hit the spot and were very tasty. Make reservations, they can get pretty busy but the good news is that you can make reservations. Food was great, I was impressed... with the quality for sushi in Utah. And overall it was a great experience, the staff was nice and there were various options onthe menu. Read more
Great place for lunch! Sushi is awesome. They also have very reasonably priced combo lunch boxes. If you are coming with a big... group, you need to make a reservation. The Spicy Masa Roll is awesome, but you can't go wrong with any of the sushi. Read more
Fantastic experience! Fast sitting, our service guy was so friendly and polite(sorry I forgot his name, I should remembered)!... Everything was served very fast, we were impressed by the food qualities too. Downtown Takashi was our favorite sushi place, so we were comparing every single bite we had in Tsunami with our Takashi memories, our conclusion is now we have twofavorites. I can't speak enough the fantastic experience we had tonight, it was also my husband's birthday, thank you for theyummy food and great services! 100% Recommend! Read more
This place is overall a great place. The wait was very quick (granted it was 3pm on a Saturday.) The rolls are INSANE. Such a... delicate balance of fish, fresh herbs, and sauce. Some of the best rolls I’ve had inland from an ocean. Everything foodrelated = 10/10. Also, they are so timely. Waiters and bussers were 10/10. Also, kinda random, the music wasn’t too loud andthe playlist appealed to me! 70s and 80s. Seriously, this place is an absolute must go. Read more
