Was in town for work and was starving! The restaurant was located at the hotel the company had us at. Drinks were strong and... nice the owner was so friendly and super nice and was very quick to offer an apology and went out of his way to not only fix amistake but also to make sure my coworkers and I had a great night and a wonderful experience! This restaurant is pretty close to home so we thought we would give it a try. We sat outside on the patio. The food was good but... the prices seemed a little high. I ordered a burrito and it was very good. It was $18.49 which seemed high but then they chargedme extra for salsa to put on it. That is the first time I've ever been charged for salsa with a meal. The service was onlymediocre. We were both out of beer and had to wait until the server finished her cigarette to get another. I would say that Iprobably won't go back. While on my quest to subdue the taco craving beasts in my belly. I traveled to Taco Ardiente. Upon arrival to TA I found the... doors were magically sealed before the posted closing time. So I aborted the TA idea and chose El Tarasco as my target for taconirvana. Upon entering I found the environment spacious with a few televisions and an out side bar. I was pleased with thischoice. Although the food here was not the same as others I have been to. The food was pleasantly like home made. I ordered ataco and enchilada combo and washed it down with a Modelo. After I finished my meal and had subdued the taco craving beast. Ipaid. It was a modest amount around $20 or so. I think I will return another day and try something else from the menu. By far the worst so called Mexican restaurant ever. I ordered a pollo loco to go and it was packed in this tin dish as if a dog... bowl. Rice was raw super grainy. Definitely disgusting and disappointed. Called the restaurant the lady on the phone asked if Icould bring it in after I proved that I had ordered from them because supposedly they don't use the system I ordered from so Igo and ask if they'll be giving me new rice and the lady says just give her extra beans ok no problem. Get my order the beansare in a dish but my chicken is still covered in beans and grainy rice I had to pull it out the tin dish just to be able to eatit. These ppl are a joke. Read more
