We were in Jim Thorpe for a small vacation and decided to give Sapore a try based on the printed menu. We opted, however, for... two of the specials, calamari in an onion, white wine sauce, and tortellini primavera . Both were very unique and delicious. Ordered sapore on DoorDash and received it in under 30 min from order placement. Aside from the availability, I?m way under... impressed. For the price of the food this doesn?t equate. Ordered Angel hair ala vodka with meatballs. Swimming in sauce that?struly not as flavorful as you?d expect. Hoped the meatballs would have made up for it but they were so bland I would say it?ssimply meat without seasoning. The side salad was packaged with my hot food so it was hot too upon delivery. Paid an extra $1.25for celery with ranch and got a half a handful of celery but a massive cup of ranch. Don?t think it?s worth a 2nd chance forme. Excellent service, our waitress was friendly and attentive. Spacious, comfy, clean restaurant. Food arrived quickly and was all... portioned well. As we stopped in for a late lunch, we ordered more basic options. The personal pizza was delicious, I hadn'tplanned on eating the whole pie although I definitely didn't leave any slices left over. My daughter had a side salad, which wason the larger size considering it was only a side salad. It looked fresh and crisp, she loved it. My husband had the cheeseteakwhich he also enjoyed. My daughter had the peanutbutter holiday dessert, we all tried it and it was tasty. They have a greatselection of beer and at a decent price.
