Lunch was great and the service was too. My sister and I had fried chicken,with various sides which we shared. Everything was... delicious. Throw back to a simpler time. Walking in here is like walking back in time. The booth I sat in was "well loved." I enjoyed the... meatloaf, the portion was small for my liking, but it was very yummy. I also had the green beans and the cucumber and onionsalad. The green beans were very flavorful and the salad had just the right amount of dressing to make it tasty but not toomuch that it was soggy. I just absolutely love Southern hospitality. Everybody's smiling. My waitress Brook was full of smiles and delightful, fast and... efficient. The food was great. Really quick in and out. I got the special the chicken livers with the homemade mashed potatoesand the cinnamon apples and I even had a cornbread/pancake was delicious. Had dinner last night and I would give them 5 stars. Food was reasonably priced and delicious . I even bought a bag of homemade... sweets. Very Good dessert. Staff was very nice and respectful??So this morning I ordered breakfast and the breakfast wasdelicious and reasonably priced as well. The staff this morning were confrontational over butter. A great local restaurant in downtown Litchfield, KY with that down home feel. The food and desserts are homemade and you can... taste it ... delicious! It wasn't really busy here. It took them a while to deliver the meal. Their green bean and coleslaw are pretty good. French... fries, it tastes plain. Need to add season salt to French fries. Chicken tender tastes good. Overall, the food quality was good. Read more
Nice, locally owned, family country restaurant. The grilled cheese on Texas toast was cooked perfectly. Plenty of seating.... Plenty of parking, but it's popular, so you may have to park across the street. The coffee is delicious. Read more
