Just picked up our food, got home, took one bite and had to throw it away. Food that should have been hot was stone cold and... severely over cooked, food that should have been cold (sushi) was hot, and to top it off part of our order was missing. Go hereat your own risk. Read more
I’m not a sushi expert but the food here was great, 5 stars for the food. The place itself was clean and well done, 5 stars... for the interior design. It was almost empty when we went, maybe 1 or 2 other people but our waiter was incredibly slow. He tookat least 5 minutes just to get our drink orders and then we had to flag him down to order our food. Okay, the waiter is a bitslow on a Monday night but at least we’ll get our food quick right? No, we had to wait no less than and hour before our foodcame. 1 star for service. If you want quality food and have plenty of time to spare, then I’d recommend it. The maki sushi is comparable to sushi places I frequent downtown across Wicker Park and Gold Coast. I’d say it’s the best... quality fish in the area. Highly recommend coming in on Wednesdays for buy one, get one half off! Read more
Took my Mom for her Birthday here. Very nice, clean and cozy place. Service is superb. Our waiter was extremely professional -... very timely and courteous service. Food was delicious - steak and grilled calamari are definitely "a must try". Especially steak- one of the best I've ever tried. Sea bass felt like a souffle - top notch (though IMHO dish of that quality should bepresented with less sides :))), but that's just my opinion :)). All in all will definitely gonna dine here more often and willrecommend it to my European friends when they visit me. Read more
The food was amazing, a bit pricy but well worth the cost. We started with the Crab Ragoon, which were filled and didn't have a... lot of extra crust to them. Then we got three different sushi rolls, and all of them were excellent. The Dragon roll was moremild than we expected, and the Kitchen Sink was amazing! Both were very filling and very tasty! The last roll was a Philadelphiaroll, which is pretty standard and was very good! The place was busy with take out orders, and there were some people sittinginside. Low key places for sushi and hibachi style meal. It was pretty inexpensive and everything was tasty. We will be going back. The... crab Rangoon were amply filled and had a surprising ratio of crab to cream cheese. Typically other places skimp on the crab. Sothis was a pleasant surprise. My cousin had shrimp and steak. I had steak and chicken. We both preferred our chicken and shrimpto the steak but the steak was not bad. There were some yummy noodles mixed with our veggies which was also a nice surprise. Read more
My husband & I came here on a whim a week ago & we would definitely return. Its the best sushi we’ve found in the general area... and the miso soup was good too. Service wasn’t great, our waitress came off as kind of rude. The quality is not as great asWu’s but its still up there! The presentation was beautiful as well Read more
Terrible customer service!! We ordered online with estimate of pick up in 20-30 min. We got notified it was ready at about the... 30 min mark and it’s now been an hour and we still don’t have our food or even an estimate for when it will be ready. Theowner or manager we spoke to was rude and did not even offer an apology or do anything to make this right, just made excuses andlied about them making our food.
