WOW. Best pizza joint I've been too in a long time. Thin crust, good on the sauce, lots of cheese, not over-seasoned. The only... disappointment is that I didn't find this spot sooner. It is located in the West Shore farmer's market, FYI. I got an XL plainpizza for about $18 and some change, not bad. The wait is about 20-25 minutes, but you can call ahead. Called in for an order to go today. Arrived at 1230 for my pizza. Was told pizza was being made. Waited for about 20 minutes... and then tried to pay for my pizza. Then I find out that they never even placed my order. I left without pizza and no apology. I could not wait another 40 minutes for this to be done. Read more
The pizza tastes pretty good. Unfortunately, only the rudest customers get their order. The employees seem to give higher... priority to impatient customers who do not even tip than their friendly, agreeable customers. Today, for the third time in arow I was left waiting while angry boomers far behind me in line were served. This has happened two other times, because Irefuse to awkwardly stare down the poor young girls working there until I get my pizza. Unfortunately, even leaving a larger tipahead of time will not make you stand out, and you will be forgotten about. As a friendly customer who leaves good tips, I willnot resort to being disagreeable just to get good service. I will just look elsewhere. Read more
This pizza blew me away, I live in Harrisburg, and have never been, or even heard of the farmers market this place was in,... however, I heard great things about this place online so I decided to give it a try. We got the Roma pizza I think it wascalled, and it was spectacular. The pizza was made of a nice, thin, NY style crust unlike anything I've ever tried before. Even with the thinness of the slice, the crust never really became too floppy with all the toppings on top. The toppings ofcourse were absolutely amazing, the pizza was made up of multiple different cheeses, all of which blended together perfectly tocreate this indescribable, but amazing flavor. The sauce was awesome too, the sauce was placed on top of the pizza, quitesimilar to boardwalk style pizza, if you've ever had that, but it had this nice little tang to it, that sent this pizza frombeing amazing, to being among one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Can get quite busy. Highly recommend ordering your pizza here first and then looking around the rest of the market to give time... whether you are doing a take and bake or a hot and ready pizza. Tried the take and bake for the first time and it was just asdelicious as if we had it cooked there. Directions were easy to follow and they packaged great! Read more
I got the plain cheese Take & Bake pizza from Casero pizza in the Lemoyne Farmers market. At home, I added roasted red and... yellow peppers, turkey sausage, fresh spicy oregano, fresh fennel and parmesan reggiano.
