Phenomenal! The food was off the charts. This is a mom-and-pop hole in the wall place, that you MUST visit if you are in this... area. I was visiting a friend in Shawnee and we happened upon this quaint spot. Family-owned and operated, they have a widevariety of mediterranean and Italian inspired dishes created on the spot for you. There is also a small grocery in the shopwith European cooking items - I specifically noticed spices my Croatian roommate used to use in cooking. When we arrived, itwas two individuals. Friendly and fun. The dining area is small, which makes me think most people must order to-go. I chose toask what they loved best, which after finding out its family-owned was best. I had the gyro sandwich combo with chicken whichcame with a salad, hummus, and the sandwich. Drinks are separate and in cans. The salad was great. I thought the hummus waslacking a bit, but I didn't mind, but that sandwich. *insert the chef's kiss* was PHENOMENAL. We were also given complementarybaklava for dessert. This baklava was full of pistachios and also just as delicious. Others came in as we were finishing up,and I happened to ask if what they loved best, which they agreed was my gyro. However, I was also then told this person was theson of an Argentinian woman with Palestinian roots who makes empanadas for pop ups for this restaurant. She had JUST broughtthem to the shop, so we asked for two togo since we were already full. Let me tell you and let me be very clear: FIND THESEEMPANADAS!!! Dont let the smallness of this store fool you. The people are friendly the food is fresh and filling! I ordered the gyro combo... and a shawarma sandwich combo which they cut up for my kids and of course my favorite falafels! I don't want my falafel beingto crunchy and bland the falafels here are perfect with just the right amount fried outer and soft middles with delicious green spices !! I also come here to get my baklava fix. I'm picky about my baklava . The baklava here aren't too sickly sweetor too dry like other baklava I've had. The pita bread is fresh and their hummus smooth and delicious. They also have reallygood olive oil and I don't want mine to be to heavy or taste to much like olives from a can. It's great for baking instead ofusing vegetable oils! You can also get some spices, Turkish tea and coffe. This store may be small but they are mighty withflavor! ???? Read more
This place is amazing!! My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary. We got the fried mozzarella as an appetizer and it came... with pita and Marina. It was delicious! I got the chicken kebab and loved it so much I had to buy some of the sauce to takehome. My boyfriend got the chicken shawarma and he loved it too. For dessert we tried one of the authentic candy bars theyoffer. It was great. The service was fast and it was so fun to try a new place. 10/10 would recommend ?? Read more

As someone who is relatively picky and doesn?t branch out with restaurants I am very pleased to say I love the food here. The... service and the interior of the restaurant is immaculate, and I love the variety of foods they offer. I cannot wait to come backand try many more things on the menu. Thank you! Read more
Pros: 1) Varied menu 2) We were each given a free Greek salad for reason of something like too much salad was made Cons 1)... Small seating area (two 4 person tables and three two person tables) 2) Dirty interior (crumbs on the tables and dirty cups lefton table) 3) During covid, the two of us were told to seat ourselves so we sat at the only table (4 person) with silverware thatwas also >6 feet away from the only other table with customers. We were then told to move to a table (2 person) where one of ushad our chair touching the chair of the other customer (note that there were other tables available). Does make us wonder whatother health-related things they don?t care about here. 3b) Later, 1 person by themself sat at a four person table, and were notasked to move to the other available 2 person table. Wondering why this is? 4) Service was fairly slow - took two minutes for aworker to tell us to take a seat, and a total of five minutes to be provided a single menu for the two of us 5) Soft drinks arecans, and water is without ice 6) The flavor of the lamb curry was ?alright? at best. But for $16 I expected better (or equal)flavor than the frozen microwave curry meals you can get at target. Very friendly customer service. Wait time for service is minimal. Had the lasagna and Gyro sandwich for lunch and the Tiramisu... for dessert. All are great choices. I love and recommend the lasagna. The Gyro great also. I have never tried Tiramisu and I wasnot disappointed. If you like coffee and cream cheese try this delicious dessert. The owner recommended it and I'm glad I triedit. The owner is kind and genuinely interested in his customers experience at his restaurant. He mentions that all of the foodis prepared fresh and home made. I agree because the food tasted so good.
