This was our first time here. We are not big Sushi consumers, however Sushi Uni has other options. Don't get me wrong the Sushi... I saw being delivered looked amazing and I will try some in the near future. Today we had the Seafood Udon and Hibatchi Shrimp.The Seafood Udon was a huge bowl, with enough that my Wife and I shared it and I left a 1/3 rd of the soup/broth. The two crabRangoon were very good as well. The Hibatchi Shrimp was very good.(I did not get a photo of that). The Miso soup was very good.I had never tried that before. Well worth trying it. I have been coming to Sushi Uni for years and have never been disappointed. The sushi is hands down the best I've had in the KC... area and it's affordable too, especially if you do the weekday sushi lunch special. My favorites are 87th street roll from thelunch special and the KC Chiefs roll for dinner. While there can be long wait times if you come during their busy hours, it'shonestly a testament to how good this place is that so many people try to come to this small strip mall sushi place, and you canget it to go too if you are really worried about that. The place has a homey feel to it, it?s small and there will most likely be a wait, so go in and put your name down as they do... not do reservations. I promise it?s worth the wait. The staff is super nice, the food is AMAZING, the price is great comparingit to other sushi spots. Highly recommend it!
