We stopped in yesterday for lunch and had a great meal. After seeing all the reviews about the delicious Chicago deep dish... pizza, we had to give it a shot. And it did not disappoint. The only potential negative for us is the drink options. We don'tlove drinking out of plastic bottles and there was no ice available for soft drinks. So we took advantage of the wait and ran toCasey's across the street to get a cup of ice. That leveled up the bottled Pepsi for sure! This is a nice spot with really goodfood. I will likely return to try the lunch special at some point as well. Read more

I found this place while driving around hungry and noticed a picture of pizza Chicago style. I'm from Chicago, and know a pizza... place is more authentic if they use their own recipes. I tried an Italian Beef sandwich, normally I wouldn't get giardiniera onit but it's his own giardiniera which is far better than any I've tried in Chicago! I tried a thin crust single, and I broughthome a deep dish-take n finish bake for dinner. It was delicious and even better the next day like truly great pizza is.Definitely recommend this place and look forward to trying the Chicago hotdog soon! Read more

Trying to find some Chicago flavors in KC. Stop #2 @thirdcoastpizza We love Lou Malnati?s pizza so when we read that this was... like Lou?s we got excited. This is not Lou?s. We ordered the Windy City deep dish style. Good thick tomato sauce that is reallyconcentrated. Board line too much cheese and good quality toppings which is what you want with Chicago style pizza. However, crust is cracker like a Pizza Shoppe crust which is different then other Chicago style pizza places. There was also somethinggritty in the cheese, like too much of that powder that makes cheese not stick together. We got mozzarella sticks too, nothingspecial but fired perfectly. The staff is kind and attentive. They shows they really cared about the customers and restaurant. Read more

Fantastic! Not sure how I have missed this place before. Had a craving for Chicago style pizza. Was very good. Ordered carry... out. Got a large pepperoni, sausage and onion. Crust was nice and thick but crisp on the outside. Sauce (on top!) tastedgreat. Could only really eat two pieces. Also got the carrot cake and Milky Way cheesecake. Pretty sure both we homemade andnot frozen. Cheesecake was good but the carrot cake was some of the best I have had. Not just carrot flavored cake, but loadedwith nuts, coconut, etc. will definitely be coming back! Read more

First time trying this place. Did not disappoint! Was wanting Chicago food fix, ordered the Italian Beef. Fresh baked bread, the... beef was thickly thin sliced and delicious. The au jus had a slight kick to it, the giardiniera was authentic and good. Greatsandwich and fries. I can't wait to go back and get a deep dish pie. Support local! Read more

So delicious! If you are looking for a true Chicago style deep dish pizza this is the place to get it. I had visited Pequod?s... in Chicago and have wanted something similar since and KC was drawing blanks. Glad to finally find it! The 10 inch pizza willfeed 2-3 people easily. The crust is perfect and the layered pie is hearty and filling. The individuals I interacted with thereare super friendly and helpful and they have plenty of seating in their dining area. Read more
