Christopher was great!!! He took our order dine-in and was helping with drive thru. (We had 8 ppl and a $100 order) traveling... through town from Georgia to Ohio, so this was our lunch. He was efficient and got everything done speedy!!! The food was freshand delicious?. This was my first time ever trying Captin D?s?.. Thank you sooo much for being great Christopher!!! You rock!!! As far as fast-food establishments go, I must say the "Supreme Platter" was terrific! (Two nice & big fillets of fish, two big... chicken tenders, 6 butterfly shrimp & two great sides: ochra & mac-n-cheese .... Great value. Freshly made. Quick & attentiveservice. ????) Read more
Soda machine at 1230 pm didn't have ice. Employees state they opened late and didn't fill it. Soda was flat at best. Food was... ok. People friendly but clueless. Manager wears gloves and touches everything then food. Cashier has on speed, lost. I won'tbe back. Been here only a couple times in last few years and now I know why I come so infrequently. Need to just shut the place down......ordered a 4 pc dinner as me and my wife were going to split it & as usual it was not... correct. I got 3 pcs of fish with fries and okra as a side. The order of okra that i got i literally fit on 1 stab with the fork(literally 1 bite). I asked for ketchup & malt vinegar and got butter & sour cream. Never complained about the consistent screwups but it really is time. Shut the place down! Read more
Place really needs to be updated and fixed. Middle of restaurant blocked off due to a leak in the ceiling and you can see water... damage in the walls with the paneling bowing and tearing. We were the only ones in the restaurant and they said we would have towait 5 minutes on the fish which we said fine too. But when we got our plates you could tell most had been cooked and sitting orsomething as it was barely warm. Didn't really seem fresh. Just not my usual experience with Captain D's. This restaurant was about as unorganized as possible; the girl who seemed to be telling the other employees what to do was... walking around chewing on a straw and was highly unprofessional, she just walked away when we ask her a question. The fish wasoverdone, the hush puppies were not done, the fries were cold, they had no ice, and the drinks in their machine were not cold,and we waited over 20 minutes for our order; there were only 2 more customers in there when we got there, one couple was eating,and the other man was waiting for his order. The one who was waiting said he had already been there over 30 minutes, and hewaited quiet a while longer after he told us he had been there over 30 minutes. Today's visit was ridiculous. We waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes (after paying. So we couldn't just leave). Our one... piece fish was put in a box from another part of our order. We said "two orders of lobster rolls". One order is 2 rolls. Wewanted 4 total. So we said two orders. We received only 2 rolls. And they weren't even in a box, just haphazardly wrapped. Weasked for vinegar. We got everything except vinegar. The lady went back in to get our other two rolls 5 minutes ago and had uspark. Honestly if the service is gonna be this bad, just close until you have an adequate number of well trained staff. Wedidn't even have a large order. Read more
The restaurant wasn't busy. It looked and was very clean. The decor was different than other Captain D's, nicer. The staff were... very friendly and accommodating. The fish was right out of the fryer it seemed and was crispy and delicious. The staff checkedon us while cleaning off tables which I thought nice as I don't usually get that in other fast food places. They thanked me onmy way out. Read more
