Excellent food and service. Our waiter, Jay, did a great job and was very knowledgeable about the menu. The only negative thing... I can add is that they use these huge plastic containers for taking leftovers. Had I known that I never would have asked for myfood to be boxed up and I would certainly never get takeout knowing what they use. There are a ton of earth friendly options outthere. We need to do better than plastic. But overall, we had a great experience and will certainly be back. Read more
We had an incredible dinner here. The weather was perfect for eating in their outdoor area, so we did. Everything about our meal... was so enjoyable. The atmosphere, the food and the service were all great. Our server was a very friendly, hard working andefficient young man named Edwin. He can write the book on hospitality!! Absolutely excellent! We had brunch here to celebrate a couple of family birthdays, with it being one of the best meals I’ve... had. All seven members of our party agreed their dishes were prepared to perfection. The atmosphere was great for the occasionand the service was spectacular. Alandra, our waitress was top notch; we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. The prices aredefinitely up there, but everyone agreed that every dish ordered was well worth it. What a wonderful experience! Beautiful ambiance, delicious food, and great staff. Our waitress Mary Rose was amazing! So... cheerful, attentive and helpful. My husband and I went for brunch. This was one I have been talking about for a long time. I finally made it with a couple good friends. The location is amazing... tucked into the woods, I can only imagine going here in the summer and sitting outside on the patio. They had a 3 piece musicensemble which was delightful during dinner. The food was excellent, the deserts were excellent and the service was excellent. Ihighly recommend for a special occasion or for special evening. The prices were up there, but the food matched it. This was our first time visiting The Log Cabin, but a friend of mine has been telling me about it for 25+ years. I have no basis... for waiting so long but it was very much worth making a point to get there. The food was top notch. My husband and I each had ahalf dozen oysters (2 different varieties) which were served exceptionally cold, with cocktail sauce and delicious. We bothordered a Caesar Salad. The dressing was great, but the lettuce could have been much colder and crisper to make it aboveaverage. My husband and I each ordered a special, him a halibut over rice served in a brown sauce with a fresh salsa on top. Ihad a breaded and fried soft shell crab served with an Oscar sauce, asparagus and a large serving of old bay seasoned mashedpotatoes. My only complaint is that I would have loved a larger crab. The dessert selections were a combination of premise madeand outside offerings which we enjoyed. I don't drink alcohol anymore but my Virgin Bloody Mary was tasty and my husbandthoroughly enjoyed his selection of spirits. Finally the staff was very friendly and accommodating and the Bar Tender was veryknowledgeable and friendly as well. I am in a wheelchair and had no trouble getting in and out and about the building.
