This place really needs a makeover. The atmosphere is just not there anymore. Ordered a Reuben and my bread was a couple steps... away from being burnt. I know everyone is short staffed everywhere but there were a total of 5 tables in the entire restaurant(my table of 2 being the 5th one) so it can't be blamed on the kitchen being overwhelmed. Service was very slow, waitress was fairly new to the job. Food was good and fresh. Prices are way out of line for that type of... restaurant, especially $3.29 for a Coke! Applebees and The 99 Restaurant don?t even charge that much!! Restaurant wasn?t reallyclean, dirty tables, cups and dishes left on tables long after customers left the restaurant, and the entire restaurant had astrong musty odor to it!! Chrissy at the Leominster friendly?s is the best! We had two adults and 5 young children and one teenager. She was patient... while the kids ordered, friendly to us all! The food was wonderful, service perfect! My only complaint.. we were freezing! Had to get two blankets to keep us warm!. Please don?t close any more friendly?s!! Read more
I visited this location on 25 June, and I can only compliment the staff as they were friendly and attentive. The food, on the... other hand, was not that great; I wish I would have walked the extra 800ft to Wendy?s that down the road. I ordered the baconburger, and that?s where I will leave it! Place was NASTY arrived waited 15 min to be seated. Got seated and waited 45 min to be waited on and that never happened. So I... placed an order on the app it said my order will be ready in 15 min. Then the guy Carl came over to see if anyone was waiting onme yet I told him no don?t worry about it I placed my own order on the app I get it to go. The pics are of dirty dishes sittingon tables the 45 minutes I sat there waiting to be waited on. Don?t recommend this place. Need new management or something. Read more
I had been here several times in my past five years. The restaurant was quite satisfying me until last Saturday. And I WILL NOT... GO HERE ANYMORE because of this single very unpleasant experience. I visited here on December 11th. We came there at about 7:30p.m., and there were a plenty of empty space to seat, but we were said to wait about 3 mins for "clean-up" the table. If therestaurant was full of customers, this made sense. But only a couple of tables were used at that point. The reason why we wereasked to wait for cleaning up was shown in the second photo. They do not clean the table at all. They started to clean it onlyafter the new customers came. Isn't it normal to clean the table right after the customers left? The next stuff was the timefor food to be prepared. I heard that those who sit behind us said "We've been waiting for fxxxking 45 minutes." Well.. I do notknow if they really waited for 45 minutes or not, but at least their talking was credible because we also waited about 40minutes for food. And the quality of the food? photo 3 is the supermelt steak and cheese sandwich I had in this location, andthe photo 4 is the same menu that I just ordered from different friendly's location. GRILLED DOES NOT MEAN TO BURN THE BREAD.Bread was soggy because of oil or butter or whatever they used, it was burnt. Worst steak and cheese sandwich I ever had in 30years of my life. Unfortunately Very dissatisfied,I usually don't complain or write negative things but this one left me no choice. First thing I... see when waiting for a table is the cook has no gloves on and there was a bowl of some kinda sauce on the order up counter. Hetakes a french fri from somewhere and dips it and eats it looks right at me and proceeds to talk to a young lady/ co worker who was working the grill.She was wearing glasses had like a dark Red hair fairly young her hair was not properly tried up,bangs and long stains in face and pony tail going every way but loose. As I've worked in several kitchens hair needs to be up ifworking the grill area . Very unsanitary. Then I realized from my last visit they were coming out with some new eats..so we trythem. My wife got artichoke spinach dip. She was not impressed said she wouldn't order again. I got friend pickles they were ok.I then got the new chicken mozzarella melt. Epic fail!!
