We stopped because my husband saw it was a place to go while in West Virginia, I am so glad we did. The decor was awesome so... eclectic and entertaining and the staff was super friendly. We got 3 different got dogs and the fried bologna sandwich, all ahit. We plan to take other people on our next road trip. Stop by, you won't be disappointed. Read more
What a unique and super interesting place. My girlfriend and I came to West Virginia for a week and glad we randomly came across... this place. The food was awesome and the whole swt up was pretty cool. I can now check off sitting inside an old school buseating hot dogs off the old bucket list. Read more
We finally made it to the VERY popular, must see of eclectic items. Great place to come visit on my motorcycle or car. No 18... wheel parking. There is seating outside and inside. They took a school bus and made it into a restaurant with AC. Bring aSHARPIE so you can write ?? on the walls and tables of the bus. Actually you can leave your "mark" on almost anything there. TheFOOD choices were alot to decide from. We were not disappointed with our lunch that day. It was very good ????????. It was fastto come out. Hot and fresh! We had a good time. Fun place! We rode in from about 3 hours away. Lotsnof other bikes there, too. Definitely should experience it once. ... Wonderful staff. LOTS to look at. The fried hot dogs are much better than the others. The others taste boiled. Some of minecame out soggy. Have fun!!! Read more
What an eclectic experience. You would have to eat here everyday for a month to try everything. We had a variety of hotdogs... and couple of sandwiches (fried bologna and the hillbilly Philly). The food was standard fare. Somethings reasonably pricedothers a bit pricey ($5.95 for an order of onion rings). Overall it was a fun stop on our trip through the area! Read more
We made it finally to the famous hillbilly hot dogs, they didn't disappoint priced right staff was awesome singing all spirits... are up here. Was a great stop to our road trip. Mothman dog was mama's favorite! The kids meal was the best for the 2 year old.Middle kid loved the pizza dog. Dad says pistol Pete was a go to. We will be back to try more! Read more
Me and my friend stopped at thus tourist site for fun on our vacation and had loads of fun looking at the antiques and decor of... this place! Very awesome and original. The food was great too, had a weenie of course and best dog I've ever had. Would highlycome back again some day! Read more
Hillbilly Hot Dogs has been a favorite of mine for years. The atmosphere is always eye catching and amusing seeing every little... thing tucked away in every corner of the property. You could spend an hour or more just looking through the things squirrelledaway. Atmosphere will only get you so far though, because if the food isn't good, all the cool little things won't keep youcoming back. Fortunately, the food is the best part of the experience. Whether you want a plain hot dog with standard toppingsor you want to try one of their great unique offerings, you're sure to find something you like. If you're up for a challenge (oryou just want some food to last a couple days) the Homewrecker is a must-try. It's enormous, and I'd recommend getting one withthe toppings from one of their standard sized hot dogs. The burgers and sides are also excellent if that's more of what you'rein the mood for. Definitely give Hillbilly Hot Dogs a try, they're an area favorite for good reason. Read more
