Friendly service and a menu all built around fresh local products
Fantastic, personalized service and delicious, locally sourced ingredients married in a cozy atmosphere? what more would one... need? We had oysters and halibut ceviche as an entrée and risotto with scallops and the cod (they ran out of halibut) for themain dish. Desert: carrot cake. Wine? Just speak with the owner/sommelière who is super fun and knows her wines! We had abottle of Sauvignon blanc (Un Saumon dans la Loire), which was her personal recommendation and an absolutely fantastic pairingwith our meals. The owner of Eva is warm and inviting! Her passion for food is magnetic. She explained the menu in detail and was sensitive to... any food allergies. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. From the entrées to the dessert, all was A1! We came for bothbrunch and supper and we were not disappointed. You must pass by to Eva's during your trip to the mags! Read more
Everything was delicious and the service was excellent.
Our best evening and meal in 10 days of seeking the best food experience on this trip. We had the sweet potatoes soup, haddock... filet, the calamary and the oysters. Everything was tasteful, well done and very fresh. Christopher is masterful and Valerie waswelcoming, cheerful and attentive. A winning formula on these amazing islands - Quebec's best kept secret!
