I wish I had tried this restaurant out years ago. I recently switched from Osho's to Lighthouse, due to the rude staff over at... Osho's. Lighthouse has amazing service and delicious food. The food is reasonably priced as the quality is great and the portionsizes are not too small. I would say the cuttlefish salad was very small, but everything else was perfect. I had the rainbowroll, spicy tuna, and sushi pizza, along with a few pieces of hamachi which they had on special. I was perfectly full and cannotwait to come back. Quality of food is better than O-sho?s however portions are smaller. Tempura dishes were laughably small compared and they taste... similar. Waitress refilled soy sauce containers from a gross looking jug during service and it honestly was off putting. Likecmon do that in the back. Food service was very slow and there wasn?t many diners so not sure what was happening there. Notwriting this place off but was pretty dissatisfied I must say. Solid 4/5 Read more

Everything was just okay. Portions are double for the same item and relatively same price at another Japanese restaurant in... town. Everything tasted good but there is zero ambience and the menu is very small. I wanted a noodle or starch type dish to gowith my meal but the only choice was a side of white rice that I would have to pay for. The service was friendly but a bit slow, they might have been understaffed for a Friday evening. They have a great selection of... rolls but the rest of the menu seems small. Although everything tasted really good I don't know if it was worth the higher thanaverage price. The interior is really open and not what I would consider 'intimate'. Read more

Please please please go elsewhere. I was told this was an authentic Japanese restaurant by my relatives (I myself am Japanese).... Maybe something has changed recently but this is by NO MEANS AUTHENTIC and overpriced. Frankly the quality was that of of Edo,the only difference was a few more exotic ingredients (scallops, octopus) but it didn't taste fresh at all. The service was alsomediocre. This place was very lovely and welcoming. The quality of the sushi was great, however the portion size was not that large. Cost... was average. This wasn?t an all you can eat place. The seafood tasted clean and more fresh than other places I have tried inLethbridge. The chicken bowl was flavourful with a good sauce to rice ratio. Chicken tasted fresh and moist. We finished it offwhich some ice cream and the green tea ice cream was delicious and perfectly sweetened. The server was very kind andknowledgeable.
