The food was fantastic. This is an unpretentious family run restaurant, no frills or extraneous "gloss". This place is about the... food, which is the best Indian food I've ever tasted. COME HERE! Don't hesitate. I am a HUGE Indian food lover. Like legit eat ir almost every week at home and I have tried... restaurants across Canada and the USA and this is the BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT in all of Canada and the states. Try their coconutchicken and coconut rice, it was to dieeeee for. Then their cilantro garlic Naan, OMG. So big, so fluffy, so big, so buttery.They seasoned everything perfectly, not too spicy, VERY flavorful. They even seasoned the rice and most restaurants don't. Thestaff was so kind and nice. We felt so bad because they mixed up the orders so we got double the food. Their loss, but our HUGEblessing because I am not lying or exaggerating when I say this food was the best. We just traveled all the way from Virginia???????? and this was our first stop in Canada. We were having a very bad trip, everything was going wrong and this was BY FARthe highlight of our whole trip. We will be back guys, I swear. So glad we found this place! Not only was the food impeccable, the service was absolutely lovely! The decor (especially the... colors, murals/wall art , plants/flowers and swing) gave the restaurant an ambiance unlike any other, and the candles to keepdishes warm were very appreciated. Amazing food and great service. I went there with my friends, we had great time. Price was very reasonable for the quality and... service they provide. When we reached all the tables were occupied, the server arranged for a separate table for us so that wedon?t wait for long. He also offered free mango lassi and gave us discount on our bill. This is a hidden gem. We enjoyed every single item ordered. the basket of assorted naan you gotta order, we ate and ate and took... the rest to our hotel and ate again. nowhere have I ever seen assorted naan in a plate for less than 10 bucks. In face no onedoes that. Hard working small family operated. The young lady in the front was pleasant, professional, and ran up and attendedto every single need and with a smile The phone was ringing off the hook which means busy. a lot of take out orders. Bathroomwas clean and tidy. We were driving through Alberta and wanted to see if there were any Nepali restaurants and this one saidIndia but when I looked at the pictures and the menu I knew they were from Nepal and thats what I was looking for. You gottataste the momos ( Tibetan Nepalies potstickers ), they were so good. Ask for house made hot sauce. yum I ate like a pig. you canorder mild to hot, the food is not spicy if you do not ask them to make it spicy.
