We ordered 3 different dishes and they tasted like old food, rice was hard and very cold like it was made a few days ago,... lasagna wasn't well cooked and chicken breast was totally dry, it seemed to be reheated from a few days. We were in the mood for some pizza and with limited choices due to the time of devening we came here. Our server was friendly... however he wanted it known that he was working in pain as he has a wrist brace. I also asked for a lot of water and did notreally appreciate his comment one 2 occasions saying oh wow you are really thirsty. So on to the food we took the mix entreewhere we had 3 choice and it was to come with veggies. There was no veggies, no dipping sauce for the tenders, One of thechicken tender was still raw and not fully cooked. The Mozerella sticks were quite small but the spag sauce to dip them in wasreally good. We followed this by a pepperoni pizza which was good but the dough was so thin that it became slimy as weprogressed eating. Good to see they had English menu's for the traveling customer. We both liked our meals and the service. Recommended.
The food, as always, was excellent. But only 3 stars this time, for this location, because the service was dreadful. She got our... order wrong. She billed us for a full size fruit bowl instead of a side. (In both cases the word 'side' appeared to confuse her,despite our pointing.) We waited over 30 minutes to be served. And the (three cups of) tea & coffee while we were waiting wereonly lukewarm. We know you can do better. Read more
Wow!! Where do I start? Ordered breakfast. The cooks did a great job of presentation. The waiter. Less than competent. I asked... for ketchup. They brought a bottle. Unknown where it was kept but when I opened it whitish liquid came out. All over the table.1p minutes to try and get the waiters attention. Finally came. I told him. He said no problem get another bottle. He got liquidall over. I had it in my food. I was NOT going to eat whatever that was. I told the manager!! She had no idea what to do. Good go to spot if you want lots of choices. Good breakfast menu and the pizzas are great. Quality and taste are consistent.... Staff is polite and helpful. Sometimes, certain menu items are not available (when they are on the menu for a limited time,because they run out). Decent amount of parking spaces and fairly close to highway 20' exits. Read more
Meatpie was good but soup and potatoes were way too salted. It would have been fine if not for the mediocre service. Our... waitress kept running around everywhere without doing anything. She came to ask if everything was okay when we wete nearlyfinished and she just said it as she passed by quickly, clearly distracted. Made us wait 20 minutes of passing our table saying"it won't be long" then completely ignoring us when printing the bills for other tables?? The restaurant wasn't even busy shewas just so disorganized and really unpleasant. She got her basic 15% tip but she didn't deserve it at all. Also a cook went toserve himself a pitcher of crush soda from machine in the dining hall...and as he walked back to the kitchen started slurping onit...lack of politness. And it was SO COLD!
