This place absolutely has the rudest employees. I have been to this location several times when visiting the Lewes area and... have never once been greeted by anyone that was remotely friendly. They have great food but unfortunately the staff ruins theirreputation. I called a little over an hour before closing time to place an order for 2 sandwiches only to have someone answerthe phone and say "Capriotti's we are closed" and then hang up on me. This is a family owned sub shop chain. I have been a fan of Capriotti's for over thirty years. I've eaten at most of their... locations. This location maintains the same high quality as all the other locations. Their subs are huge as well as tasty. Mywife and I split a medium Bobbie. The Bobbie is a turkey sub with cranberry sauce and stuffing. It's kind of a Thanksgiving mealin a sub. It was as delicious as I expected it to be. The medium sub at Capriotti's is as big as a large sub in most other subshops. The large sub is enough for three or four meals. Read more
I got the Bobbie with turkey, stuffing, mayo, and cranberry sauce. It was pretty good, but it could probably use some more sauce... of some kind since it was a little dry. I also tried the meatball sub, and that was pretty good as well. Read more
I delivered the provisions such as turkey breast mayonnaise pickles and peppers to the store. We were delivering me and my... helper were delivering on a particular Wednesday to this capriotti's. The owner was there this day and he was very very busy sowe offered to put the order away for him to throw us some cheesesteaks... After we put the order away and he gave us thecheesesteaks... HE WANTED US TO PAY FOR THEM! WE ASKED HIM IF YOU GIVE US SOME CHEESESTEAKS WE WILL PUT THE ORDER AWAY FOR YOUAND HE SAID YES AND OF COURSE SHE SEES US PUTTING THE ORDER AWAY WHICH IS NOT OUR JOB! AND WHEN WE EXPLAINED THIS TO HIM AND WELEFT WITH THE CHEESESTEAKS HE CALLED OUR BOSS AND HAD ONE OF THE SALESMEN PAY FOR THE CHEESESTEAKS!
