We recently moved to the area about 2 weeks ago. We've driven by multiple times and decided today was the day and it did not... disappoint to say the least. The Fish and Chips as well as the jumbo shrimp were soooo Good. We will absolutely be back soon,and the GO Brit beer was deeeelicious. Great ambience, good food, good service. The fish and shrimp were great. Chips could be a little more freshly fried.
I have always wanted to try this & this year we did. I was not disappointed. I had the fish & chips which was very good. I tried... a few bites of the chicken from my grandsons meal. That may have been even better than the fish, very yummy. The young manworking was amazing! He handled the counter, phone, served as our waiter. All while being very personable. Hang onto him! Pretty happy! Super late review, but we went here an hour before they closed, and even though they had a lot of work and back of... the house upkeep to do, we felt super welcomed. The customer service was excellent, and the food was great. The fried cheesecakewas a killer lol. We will definitely be back. Read more
Absolutely loved Go Brit! They specialize in British style Fish n Chips, and they deliver great crispy pieces of fish. They... aren't too greasy, and full of flavor. We tried the Mushy Peas, a very British dish, and the Curry Sauce to dip our chips (akafries). The service was very friendly, and the decor is uniquely British. A conversation with staff told us that the owner isindeed British, so no wonder the food is so good. They have a sister location, Go Fish! on the main strip closer to the beach.I'll be back every time I'm in Rehoboth. Read more
A little pricy for some things, but still excellent. My British expat of a husband and I love coming here for dinner when we are... local. Their fish is excellent, and the chips are thick like they are supposed to be. Servings are generous for the fish. Themushy peas and the curry sauce were great, too! Servers are friendly and attentive. This time, we treated ourselves to thesticky toffee pudding and oh man, it was worth it! So warm and gooey, our son loved trying it. Go Brit definitely has the atmosphere but when we visited a lot was lacking. We waited to be seated for awhile while there was... only 2 other tables seated. Being our first visit we had a couple questions about some of the dishes and were given very shortresponses. I ordered the bangers and mash, which I couldn?t even eat the mashed potatoes because all I could taste was garlic.The mushy peas were not even appetizing! My husband orders the chicken skewers and they came out super dry and inedible. Thewaitress was hardly ever seen ands we had to get our check from another gentleman. I had wanted to try this place for along timedue to all the commercials they have and unfortunately I was severely disappointed! Read more
