The place is really clean and well keep. They didn't have stuff to make a few different drinks we wanted. Our meals were served... hot and were good . The only reason for the 3 stars was a combination of lack of supplies for drinks , not using fresh squeezedOJ and the fact that 12 fried clams w/fries were 32 dollars . The restaurant is very popular. We were waiting for table 40 minutes The drinks were ready for everyone in 10 minutes. Dishes we... had after 25 minutes of waiting. My fiance and I ate at Matt's on a whim. Every item we ordered off of the menu from the muscles, the farmers bowl, shrimp and... grits, to the lime pie were all top notch. The service was great as well, our waitress was so joyful and energetic! All of thestaff worked as a team to help make our experience amazing, helping to clear the table, bring out food, and check on us. We willbe recommending Matt's to all of our friends and family! This is an absolute MUST-TRY. 2 weeks later and I am still daydreaming about this food! We tried this during our vacation and... were sad that we don't live close enough to make this a regular dining spot. The atmosphere was adorable and cozy yet stillsomewhat upscale. A very classy yet comfortable place. The waiter was amazing and so polite. Really seemed to care about hisjob. Me and my husband kept joking that he was secretly Matt from Matt's Fish camp. He seemed to genuinely enjoy the place andknew the menu well. Everyone there seemed like they were happy to work there. This place is managed well!!!! They havehomemade soda's. We had the black cherry and ginger. They were delicious and such a fun addition to the menu. The food wasout of this world good! We had the crabby fries for an appetizer. They were so good we ordered another serving. I got thecold lobster roll. It was hands down the best lobster roll I have ever had. It was so delicious. My husband had the friedshrimp which was recommended by the waiter as the best fried shrimp he had ever had.... He was right. This dish was so simpleand executed perfectly. Matt's Fish Camp in Lewes Delaware is a "must stop" every time we are in the area. The service remains excellent and the food...... let me say it again...the food is delicious. Have you ever had a taste for something specific...and when you get it and it hitsthat taste bud, you're in heaven?... This is what happens when we get the Ipswich clams. Oh man, they are so good here. We havetried other places but they just don't measure up. Our daughter enjoyed the Lobster Cobb salad which was filling. I also had theCreme Brulee cheese cake with vanilla ice cream... Sorry no picture of the dessert... It was so good I ate it all before eventhinking about a picture. When I saw Matt's, we just had to stop and eat! Everyone was super nice and I love the restaurant decor. My fish filet sandwich... was amazing. The onion rings were amazing too! I got my new favorite shirt here too! You've got to eat at Matt's Fish Camp! Read more
