New name and it?s now a full service resto. They have taken away the drive thru. I had the tacos al pastor. Very very basic... version is sold here. Just meat, pineapple and corn taco. No sauce or sour cream. SC was $1.00 more. Tamale was just abouttasteless. Served with either red or green sauce but definitely not enough. I don?t have high expectations for Mexican food inthe area but this was still a little disappointing. Read more

This place previously was called El Iguana but now it's El Molcajete. We came in and the place was literally empty. I believe... we were the only people in the dining room except for the waiter. There were clearly other people there earlier because thetables surrounding ours were still uncleared, just not sure how long those dishes have sat there... They may have been shortstaffed sadly. I'd compare this place a bit to El Vaquero except more pricey. Menu options are very similar. My burrito wasreally tasty, but the rice & shrimp was okay. The drinks were good and strong though! I also tried ordering their Flan off thedessert menu, but the waiter laughed and told us they haven't had Flan in 21 days. It's even labeled as a Mexican classic ontheir online menu! You can't be outta flan! Very average place, I can't say I'd be back but I do wish them the best of luck andhope more people try them out & hopefully they turn some problems around. Read more

Guacamole was old, Mahi taco smelt fishy (hopefully they discarded the rest of that batch I did tell waiter), 11 dollar Texas... margarita were pre-made. Bartender was nice though and chips and salsa were good. Read more

Just not really impressed... There was not anything that was outstanding about our visit. The service was not really that good.... The food was mediocre at best. The building looked really nice and the interior was nicely decorated. I had the super nachoswhich were not good - I know how do you screw up nachos? But there was some sort of watery substance at the bottom of the plate- kinda gross. Wifie had the fajita salad which was ok but not good. I wondered the whole time with all the other Mexicanrestaurants in the area how can they be this mediocre and stay in business? Hard pass on stopping back... Read more

One of the best kept secrets for Mexican food. We came in and we?re immediately seated and greeted! The happy hour special from... 4-8 has some of the popular drinks available. My favorite is the strawberry margarita. Chips and Salsa are a nice appetizer. Wewanted to try the guacamole dip and it was satisfying. Next we moved on to the street tacos Quesa Birria which didn?tdisappoint. The meat was so tender and flavorful. So why only a 4 star??? Well my rice was cold and my tacos were lukewarm. Thisplace has become a takeout Tuesday favorite for my family. Take a chance and visit. Read more
