Walked a quick stroll around town while waiting for a table at another establishment. Stopped in to Amami for a couple of... coffee's. They weren't open yet but were happy to serve us. I felt disrespected, humiliated, unseen, and unheard. So this is what happened on a particular afternoon I went to order a... toast, and I realized that people who went before me all got their orders in time, when I mean in time I mean 30 minutes beforeme, and Yes I know that mistakes happen but for it only to be seen after a customer approaches the manager makes it seem all tounfair to me. I don't know if its because I'm a tall Black men and everyone who order before me is White, or if my cloathingappreanse is off. I was just deeply disappointed, and felt unwanted by the restaurant, its a shame because I thought thatcustomers are every bussiness number one priority, but it seems like I am wrong, white customers come first than Black!!! I stopped into Amami Kitchen & Espresso Bar for a quick bite and an iced coffee. The menu offered a great variety of coffee... options and the food menu was very good as well. The atmosphere is very surfer/beachy and laid back. If you're looking for agreat coffee shop experience, go to Amami. Read more

The absolute BEST coffee around! Super amazing! I'm hoping they start a rewards system.... I think then I would buy coffee... there more than Starbucks. But their coffee is high quality, top-notch! Hight recommend it! One thing to be aware of: theircoffees are more Italian, so some of the coffee is different than regular chain restaurants/coffee shops. Go in and order on off menu cortado and you'll not be disappointed. Have I mentioned the love they put into their food? You'll... love the service, the food and coffee. I must say, their choice of music is pretty good for dates, catching up with a friend orsimply getting work done. I'd recommend! Read more
