This place is beautiful and so much fun. I'm updating my review because I'm reminded of the beautiful way they welcomed my... partner and I when we got engaged. Because of this special time, we also chose to use them for our wine ceremony. They helped usblend the best two wines that represented our 2 families coming together. I came in with a large group yet, honestly most establishments would be upset by that. We?re treated with so much... respect?something rare in small businesses around here. Everyone was so welcoming?I was honestly surprised. I ordered a flightand the Fero Staff recommended wines that fit my palette. After my flight, I ended up getting another bottle and a charcuterieboard. I would highly recommend if in the Lewisburg area over any other wineries in the area especially because of the serviceMelissa provided. I would give over 5/5 stars if I could. Read more
Nice smaller winery and vineyard not far from Bucknell University. Tara was super upbeat and knowledgeable. This winery is... listed as a top 100 hidden gems in America. There is a smaller banquet space and pavilion out back too. We relaxed on thepatio area and enjoyed a flight of wines. Good mix from dry to sweet. Read more
What a beautiful Winery. Great drys. Had a flight of 4 drys, with a cheese and crackers board. Then we bought a bottle if the... dry sparkling Rose, which you could not do on the flight. Fero Vineyards is a wonderful place to have a glass of wine on a beautiful day. It is a miracle that such a vineyard finds... itself in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. It is a wonderful place to sit beneath the broad umbrellas and have a glass of excellentwine with friends. Fero has a replete product line from table to sparkling wines. Their best is their dry Riesling. It has asubtle nose, but a bright, crisp flavor with very little acidity. The Gruner Weltliner is a bit more citrusy and acidic, butstill drinkable. In a class with California Chablis. Their Dry Pinot Noir Rose is a nice flavorful wine that would go well withPeking duck or with conversation on the Fero patio. Their best red Pinot Noir has the ridiculous name of Bison Roots Blue. I?vehad only two bottles of this wine. It is drinkable wine in a class with modest French table wines. Fero has a large dining roomfor special events or a drop-by glass of wine served with small snacks. I attended several Democratic fund-raisers there and awedding anniversary party. They have a much larger outdoor covered space for bigger events staged occasionally by thevineyard. As I say, it is a miracle that we have in this small town a vineyard with so many excellent wines and other features. Read more
