My wife and I love thai just like the next guy, but the curry puffs, dumplings, and snapper are to die for honestly! The only... reason why I have to drop the score down to 4 is because of the drunken noodles. I do not know if it is a recipe from adifferent region that we are used to eating the dish based out of, but it just wasn?t hitting like the other dishes would expectit to be. We will be back in regardless to have everything once more! Read more

Some of the best crab ragoons I have had in a very long time. We also ordered the duck noodles in three different spice levels... (mild, medium, and hot) - we were all impressed by the flavor and quality. Will definitely be trying more of their menu! Read more

October 10, 2022 - Following Google directions, missed it , had to turn around . . . a typical small college town eating spot,... where the locals go for good food! It?s not fancy, but a humble Thai restaurant with plastic utensils & paper plates that offera reasonable selection of authentic Thai food at reasonable prices! We took a chance, and stopped for a quick Sunday meal. Asyou walk into a ?pizza slice?shaped building on the corner of College ( Bates College down the street) & Sabattus, folks ordertheir food at the front counter. The menu offers a few appetizers like spring rolls, chicken on skewers, dumplings, etc. There?sa couple of soup choices. Then rice & noodle selections, followed by a good selection of entrees. We met the owner & chef PatV. She worked 12 years in New York , honing her skills. My wife ordered crispy duck, which was excellent! I ordered the springrolls, which were vegetarian. . . I was hoping for spring rolls . . . veggies with shrimp, chicken, or pork style ? I alsoordered the chicken skewers with brown rice. Very good. Plus the little $5 bottles of wine. . . with a plastic cup. Hey it?sfine! The food wasn?t fancy, but good. This is a solid 4.5 establishment geared for those who want a ? take out? meal , but youcan eat in also! Prices reasonable, and the counter service is excellent! Thanks Pat for a splendid Thai dinner ! Read more

Other than the rice container being questionably filled (pic attached - not sure if that's how much rice you would usually get... with a meal here but I'm used to containers being FULL full), great experience! I wasn't expecting to find good (Asian) food inthe middle of Maine, but Lewiston is actually a food lover's gem! The food and service received here at Pure Thai was great!Note: Even though their store hours say they close at 8:45pm (on Sundays), they had already closed the sitting area when I gotthere at 8pm, so I had to do take out, which was totally fine. I had fried calamari, chicken and shrimp dumplings, and taro bubble tea. Fried calamari was amazing. Dumplings were good, but... not as good as the calamari. The bubble tea was full of ice. It was okayish. Read more
