The food is good. They don't remember to mark Gluten free pizzas, regularly. And the order isn't always right when I get it.

I?ve been a vegetarian for 5 years. I ordered from them an eggplant parmigiana and they gave me a steak and cheese which I did... not realize until I took a bite. When I called and asked why they told me that they gave me a steak and cheese because they wereout of eggplant but they did not notify me of this change. What another terrible experience at this location, It was bad enough I'm writing this review. It started with the condescending... tone olivia.. when I asked If they had real bacon instead of bacon bits for my dagwood. I was informed all they have is baconbits which is fine (mind you I've gotten this sandwich for years now ) so anyway I told them I would take it with the bits inhopes to be on my way, I prefer My dagwood heated btw. So I get home, open my....dagwood.. and there's no bacon. I feel likewas out of spite because I specifically asked about the bacon on the sandwich, and the girls were really rude to begin with. Noteager to assist or answer questions. So anyway. No bacon on the sandwich when I get home I couldn't believe it, so I called andwas told because I ordered my dagwood heated it doesn't come with bacon... (you would have think they would have mentioned thissince I brought up bacon to begin with )I was told the cold dagwood and hot dagwood are two completely differentsandwhiches..... i have never ever not had bacon on my heated dagwood and I never had to ask for it? They said they've beenworking over 5 years at this location and they've never put bacon on a "heated dagwood " so I call the lisbon st location thatI've never had a problem at , asked them what comes on a heated dagwood, of course they said bacon.. so Sam's at main st may Iask , should I order a cold dagwood "heated" to get bacon? Wow when I asked for bacon and extra bacon I didn't mean bacon bits. I feel like I wasted my money and I don't like wasting... money. I spent $63 on food and I'm not the only one who complained about the food. I run a business with guest and well I willnot recommend my guest to but food from there. To top it off my food was cold. I have been coming to this location for countless years. It was my first stop back on both moves back from Florida. Folks like... Linda and Rita treat me like family. The food is excellent. And they even make me my pizza half baked so I can finish off in theoven, later, if I ask. And I love the frozen mini pizzas, as well. Sam's is a Lewiston tradition that is spanning the Statebecause it it a 5 Star local establishment. Thank You Very Much, Sam's, for all these years. Read more
