Decent, but nothing to blow you away. I got the Potato Chip Chicken which was a pretty good. My wife got the Brisket Platter,... which had good flavor but was dry/over-cooked. One of my daughters ordered the Chop Steak, which was the best dish we tried. Myyoungest got the Brisket Sandwich which she seemed to enjoy. Read more
Took the family for Mother's Day brunch on Sunday. Everyone was very pleased with our experience, many saying Tierney's should... be added to the family list of go to places. The food was great, the bacon, catfish, chicken and waffles, and fresh salmon wereamong the favorites of the group. There was also premium items like prime rib, fresh shrimp, and fresh oysters. The drinks weregood and cheap. The floor plan is a little awkward, but staff works to help direct traffic. Its definitely worth at trip todowntown Lewisville on a Sunday. Read more
We tried this place while visiting because it was recommended by a friend and was actually very surprised at how good it was. We... ordered the New York Strip Medium Well and it was very moist and tender. We also had the Potato Chip chicken which was veryunusual but tasty. We found out later that the pies are one of there specialties so I wish we had tried them. Read more
We recently went here for a birthday dinner - group of eight, weeknight, arrived between 5 & 6, only a couple other tables with... customers when we got there. We were seated quickly. The place has a unique atmosphere - big, old house turned restaurant/bar,but has been neglected over the years. The bathroom was quite gross and the whole place could use a good cleaning. Therestaurant has a full menu, and I enjoyed the potato chip chicken. The menu should be revised to include descriptions of itemssuch as this (it's a fried chicken breast with a potato chip breading). Our waitress didn't have much interest in being there,let alone waiting on us, and it came across in her snarky tone. Getting refills seemed to be a bother. Maybe she was having abad day.
