Banners burgers! What more can I say?! Such a great place! I love this joint. From the kind service to the thoughtful owner this... is the neighborhood bar to set the standard. The dynamic menu fills any belly full to the brim with GIANT portion sizes. Theirrotating special menu always pleases as they give full creative control to the staff who knows how to please. My favorite on themenu is likely the triple decker Reuben with an in-house corned beef hash smoked in house and served with either skinny fries,steak fries or tater tots. Is a winner. Today I had Banners favorite The Big Cuz - Topped with our house four pepper blend,house Queso and picked red onion served with tater tots hit the spot. Washed this down with a large draft beer which was happyhour priced just right this meal was fit for a king. Not only is Banners food awesome but they do so much for the localcommunity with several charities and raising money for various local baseball programs, I am happy to call this bar my favoritemust stop in Lexington Ky! We came to Banner's for lunch today for the first time with it coming highly recommended. We ordered the fried raviolis as an... app and the gyro and chicken buffalo and blue as our sandwiches. The fried raviolis were obviously a frozen product andovercooked. The buffalo and blue was chewy but flavorful, the gyro was inedible. The food was far superior to our service. Ourserver did not smile, did not give us utensils and generally acted like she was upset having to serve us. Overall the ambianceis welcoming. We will be back for drinks but never for food. Read more

If you want to grab a beer in a chill environment, this is your bar and grill. Staff is wonderful, from the bartenders to the... waiters/waitresses. I usually come for wings on Thursdays, but a Saturday during football or basketball season with the Catsplaying makes this place a fun environment.
