This is not the only big and wonderful bookstore in Lexington, but there are too few in town. A far better shopping experience... than web browsing. Large selection of magazines and plenty of educational toys. Plenty of CDs, DVDs, and puzzles. Lots ofchildren's books for you to examine and "test drive" before you buy. Super helpful place that manages 'busy season' very well. Staff treats every client with the care of someone hired to be a... personal bookseller. Manager Ciara is particularly helpful and enthusiastic about books. You can tell the staff there allreally like their jobs. Read more

Loved Barnes and Noble but I got a coffee drink in the Starbucks inside the store and it was the worst drink ever!! Bless her... heart she tried fixing it but it wasn't her it was their coffee. She said they get it from an outside source. Hmmm and it'sextremely bitter. Just a warning. But all the people in the book store was very nice and helpful. Very clean store. Read more

Seriously one of the worst bathrooms in all of Lexington. I have been coming to this store for 15 years at least. There has... been ZERO upkeep of that bathroom. Nothing at all has been updated, everything just keeps getting worse and worse. This is ahigh traffic store during the day, can't they re-invest anything back into the facility? Avoid it if at all possible. I haveseen better bathrooms in gas stations. Now I know it is a Bookstore, so reviewing the bathroom might seem unfair. But howoften have you been browsing for that perfect book and just need to run to the restroom quickly so you don't have to beuncomfortable while you look? Just not worth it. Read more

This bookstore is HUGE! We visited from out of town and were all five surprised at the amount of books and vinyl records they... had to offer. They also had board games, some toys, and other things like that. They had a nice selection of Christian books forkids so we picked up two that aren't offered at the other book store we have to travel to from where we live since there isn'tone here. We found some good deals on other genres of books as well. The store was clean (including the bathrooms) and the staffwas friendly. We plan to visit again next time we get to come down to Lexington. The staff there are so helpful and I found the exact book I wanted. I also found some super cute office supplies and magnets,... I'd drop a whole paycheck there in a blink. I loved the book I got and read it in 3 days. I devoured that book and I'm goingback to Barnes and Noble to get the next book in the series. Read more
