My partner and I first tried Tin Roof, but there were no tables available, and at our young age of 52 ;-), we were definitely... the seniors in the crowd. So then we walked to Horse and Jockey, but it was closed. At this point, we were quite famished andfound that Bourbon on Rye was open and still serving food at 9pm, and it was right around the corner from our hotel, theMarriott City Center. We're so glad we found this place. The ambiance was mellow with dimmed lighting, and the patrons were amix of ages. We sat in a horseshoe booth across from the beautiful bar. We were informed to order at the bar which was fast andeasy. Drinks were quickly delivered to our table, and our meals were delicious. I had the wedge salad with chicken. The dressingwas excellent, and the chicken had a perfect char on the outside. My partner had the beer cheese burger with fries, and said itwas very good, especially the crispness of the fries. When there were gunshots and I had to run away from them and find shelter, Bourbon and Rye let me come in, but I am very upset... by how inconsiderate they were about this. I was very scared and had to run away from gunshots but while I was waiting forsomeone to pick me up from the bar so I didn?t have to walk the streets where the shooter was, they kicked me out and told methey were closed so I could not wait there any longer and it was only 10 minutes past closing. I do not feel that this bar wasvery considerate for someone that had to run away from gunshots the first time in their life. I will never go back here. Read more
Awesome venue! Very hipster atmosphere, but I don't mind. Prices on drinks are pretty normal for downtown. Bourbon selection is... excellent. Food was surprisingly good. Way better than most bar offerings. Read more

Whenever I revisit a city, I always enjoy trying new places. I'm glad I chose this spot! A true hidden gem of downtown... Lexington. The sliders were some of the best I've ever had and the house made beer cheese is just incredible. Read more
This place is beyond a vibe. For one, the bartenders know their stuff. Step out your comfort zone and tell them what your... looking for in a drink. Secondly, the lighting and overall ambiance is super moody. Take your significant other here and have afun, chill night together. Food is underrated too. Don?t be afraid to splurge. Read more
