This is definitely the most unique place that I have seen in Lexington. The food was good and the prices were very reasonable.... The dining area is a mix of regular tables with traditional dining chairs and couches surrounding tables that you can eat at.There are book shelves that run the entire length of the restaurant that are packed full of books. They also have a largeoutdoor patio, on a covered deck on the backside of the restaurant (which is where we chose to eat), or you can choose to sitoutside in the front of the restaurant at street level. The atmosphere was fun, as the UK football game had recently ended andpeople were all having a good time. I had the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and my daughter ordered chicken wings with a side offries. We both enjoyed our food and our total bill was only $28 and that included our drinks. The only thing that I would havechanged, would have been to order my burger without the mushrooms that came on it (they were good, but they kind of overwhelmedthe beef flavor from the burger). What a cool spot!! Today was my first time there. I loved it. My friend and I sat on a couch and enjoyed some wings, pasta... salad, and drinks. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious and very affordable. I also loved the books on theshelves...they were old and had lots of fun messages written in them! Such a unique place. Enjoying Gazpacho and grilled cheese on deck in the back. I always like grilled cheese here because they have dark rye.... Recommend the gazpacho. It is pleasant outside for us. I love summer. My husband having his usual, the tuna steak. Read more

Ordered door dash for my cousins and I while staying at a local Air bnb. Food was cooked quickly and arrived hot. My major... complaint was that the salad didn't come with enough ranch and the burger had no sauce, which made it dry. The flavor was goodthough. No ketchup for the fries either. Read more
I have traveled a lot and always look for places the locals go. While in Lexington we discovered Charlie Browns. I must say the... atmosphere was awsome, the service was outstanding ( thank you Emily ), the food was super delicious and we will definitely beback. We are from Louisville which is an hour away and believe that hour drive is worth coming back to Chaie Browns !! Oh andthe price for all the food we got was super cheap!!!! Have been here multiple times really really enjoy this place. The atmosphere is one of a kind, I love the relaxing chill vibe.... Always good service, excellent beer selection, the food is fantastic. Love the burgers, can never go wrong with the special. Ido feel the burgers could use a little bit more seasoning but it's whatever. I typically get the fried mushrooms which I highlyrecommend. This past time I went, I tried the fried pepper jack cheese, which was excellent. Ratings 1-5. 1 low 5 high. We found this treasure while on vacation. If your looking for a cozy unique place to eat great food that is fairly priced you... need to check this place out!! Highly recommend!! The ambiance is complete with old books, working fire place and multiplecouches! The kids loved it too!!! Read more
