Great brisket and greens. They only have two sauces for their barbeque-- a Carolina honey mustard base sauce and a sorghum... sauce-- but the sorghum sauce is good enough that's it doesn't really matter. Visiting here from Detroit area - our daughter is a new transplant. This restaurant was highly recommended. Overall - VERY well... worth it. Ordering via app - found it very straight forward and easy. Drinks ( watermelon margarita and BBLD ) were wellmixed, strong and unique. DINNER -pork shoulder sandwich was overflowing with pork, sirachi wings were exceptional- meaty andspicy, smoked pork side was very generous , appetizer of 2 dips was generous, two types of "chips" and fed 3 of us. Theserving/ clearing/ cooking mixing staff works their butts off - absolutely unreal. It may be a bit if a wait- deal with it, thefood is exceptional , the staff is dedicated, pleasant and hard working. Nice atmosphere- little too loud inside for one of ourolder family members but we got seated right away and that was needed. I will be back when we visit again. Heartily recommend . Read more
These liberals serve some of the best food you can get in Lexington. The front of the house is completely propped up by the back... of the house?s culinary genius. The folks out back are geniuses and the menu shows, while the waitstaff is a bunch of strung outliberal hippies that know that the menu ensures them a 20% automatic gratuity. The gentleman in a Cincinnati Reds hat does aremarkable job of allowing you to order your food while giving 0 response that it?s been ordered and bringing it out exactlycorrect. can?t rave about County Club enough. Me and my husband are Lexingtonians and if you?re looking for a local, quality,... mouth-watering experience? you gotta try it. Our go-to favorite: the Vietnamese Brussel sprouts. Doesn?t matter if you don?tlike them, you gotta try them (and if you still hate them then did you burn your tastebuds off?) County Club is, hands down, the best meal we have ever had in Lexington. Everything here is perfect: food, drink, atmosphere,... service, price; they do it all right. We ordered a couple things off the regular menu and a couple of the specials. First ofall, they have the best brisket I?ve ever had in my life (melt-in-your-mouth good, perfect burnt ends). The brussels sproutswere also amazing - I have never had Brussels sprouts this good. The two specials - the salad and chili cheese fries - weregreat, and I?m excited to go back to try other specials as they happen. Oh heaven, this place is just beyond anything I expected. Some of the most amazing food I?ve ever had, every bite even down to... the poutine, was absolutely amazing. I don?t think I?ve ever eaten that much in my life but I could not stop. The drinks andservice were also just as amazing. I can?t wait to come back, not that Kentucky didn?t already have so much to offer, this onewill be a top 5 as to why I would come back. Read more
