This is our favorite sushi place, although we?ve only dined in once. We always get takeout (they used to offer 50% off for... takeout, but now it?s only 30% off- I guess times are tough. But the upside is it?s 30% off dine in and takeout now.) When youget takeout, you?ll be shocked at how tightly they pack the rolls in the containers- they definitely don?t waste a centimeter ofspace. The rolls are smallish, but I like that because it gives me the opportunity to try several of them each time we order.Ingredients are always fresh and good quality. They have some interesting flavor combos in their special rolls, but we can makea great meal out of their regular rolls and some miso soup. My parents don?t like sushi, so they get the hibachi meals, andthey?ve always enjoyed them. (I don?t think there are at-table hibachi chefs if you dine in, though, fyi). This place was outstanding! I have definitely found my go-to restaurant when I?m craving sushi. Food was amazing and service was... even better. My glass of water never went below half full before the waitress was there to fill it up for me and we got veggiespring rolls on the house. As someone with a shellfish allergy, it can be hard to find a sushi restaurant with enough options.Happy sushi had so many options for me and I will definitely be returning. Read more

I mean this when I say--best sushi i've ever had. I've gotten both carry out and dine-in and it has been amazing every time. If... you sit down, the service is great and the employees are so friendly!! Not to mention the prices can't be beat anywhere. We almost didn?t stop here because we were looking for a Japanese restaurant that USED to be in this strip mall! Wow, I?m glad... we did - in addition to the 40% discount, the place is clean, attractive, and the staff is attentive. We ordered miso soup,which came loaded with tofu and seaweed, dumpling soup loaded with dumplings, green tea, and 3 sushi rolls. The sushi came onfun platters adorned with flowers and LED lights:). The menu is extensive, though the selection of actual raw sushi was a littlelimited. We enjoyed everything and will definitely return! Read more

This is the best sushi place in Lexington. My girls always want to go here on their birthdays every year and of course we go in... between as well. The quality of the sushi is outstanding and is made to order each time throughout your meal. The staff isattentive and make sure that when you need a drink or are ready for another round of sushi that they are available and promptlyget you taken care of. Read more
I was pleasantly surprised by the offerings at Happy Sushi. Though I think it?s funny that they advertise 30% off all sushi... (I.e. mark up price in the menu and then say it?s 30% off ? the reason they got a 4 instead of 5), the sushi is good and theyalso have a variety of other Chinese and Japanese menu items. My wife got the ?Tofu Skin? poké bowl (which really is just asliced up Inari Sushi wrapping). She was very happy with it. I tried the ?Sushi Pizza,? a concoction of fried flour tortillatopped with spicy tuna, spicy crab, jalapeños and a few other things. Impressively tasty!! Service was great and they evenbrought us ?on the house? harumaki (fried egg rolls). We will go back. Read more
