Our first time trying Korean dishes and we loved the flavor! Small atmosphere perfect for those who prefer a quieter dining... experience. I do recommend making a reservation to ensure you have a table. Read more

Tasty food, especially the pan fried dumplings! Those crunchy bits were glorious. I had the beef bulgogi, which was delicious... with the side salad, rice, and miso soup. I also loved the kimchi and pickles! The udon noodles were very good, though my 9 yearold had trouble with the kimchi spice level. It was pretty mild, but she killed the fish cakes and noodles. My husband had the bibim bop, which he said tasted great but could have been hotter. The egg was also hard rather than sunnyside up, so you knowwhat to expect. I'd say 4.5 stars rounded up. Note that the place is quite small and echoes a bit, which can feel awkward ifsomeone else is clearly on a date and your kid has to be reminded about volume a few times. Read more

Absolutely fantastic food! A must visit restaurant. Definitely make a reservation in order to get seated. A small menu but... everything on it that we had was above and beyond. Fantastic service would definitely return. Excellent value for your moneyhighly recommended Read more

Definitely one of my new favorite places in Lexington. The spicy pork was excellent, so were the dumplings and everything else... really. Extremely friendly owner, you'll definitely get the most "homey" experience ever. Good idea to call or text in areservation. Will definitely be back! Read more

Definitely the most authentic and amazing tasting Korean food here in Kentucky. Every time I have their food makes me feel like... I am at home. Their spicy pork, jab che, Sundubu, gyoza, Korean pancake and gimbap is all I?ve had so far but they are all sogood. And the sides too???? you can also text the order! Amazing. Read more

I can?t believe I just found this place. My husband and I have just ordered take out for dinner two consecutive nights now. If... they were not closed Sunday, Monday? that might have been three consecutive nights. This is definitely the best Korean food inLexington that I?ve tried so far. We live 2 minutes away from another place but JY Kitchen is worth the drive. Chicken withKorean BBQ and Silken Tofu soup are must try items. Staff was really nice and I?m so happy that I can just text my order aswell. Clearly, we?ll be back! Read more

Super fresh and flavorful, including appetizers and entrees. Easily some of the best Korean food we've ever had --- including... Chicago and LA's Koreatowns, and even Seoul, Korea. We'll definitely be back on our next trip through Lexington. Highlyrecommend! Read more
