The staff are really nice, the music was good, the place is spacious, so it is a good place if you want to come with a group of... friends. I got grean tea with milk/honey - hot, but for some reason it had strawberry flavor (maybe because of the type ofhoney they are using) and I am not fan of it. Our first visit 5/13. Of course wait time was expected as evidenced from,other reviews. Only 3 people working as far as I,could... see. Food was good, drinks took,forever. 1 person in our party ordered a leg and wing, got a leg and thigh. I ordered wintermelon bubble tea and got milk tea because they were out of bubbles so they decided what to give me. Sides were great. We gotmashed potatoes, corn and peppers. I would say pay close attention to your order because it appears they substitute thingswithout asking. Good location but the worse parking garage ever!!! Its attached to the building but there is no directionalsignage. Spaces are not clearly marked and its very dark even in daylight. I had Qdoba for lunch right before I discovered KFT and TKK Fried Chicken. My husband and I were both extremely sad that we had... eaten elsewhere before coming to this place. I ordered a boba tea for myself and my daughter. I got the green tea milk boba,and I got the Thai milk tea for her. The Thai milk tea was a bit more bitter than we expected. My husband ordered cimmanom sugarsweet potato fries, and loved every bit of it. We did not get to try the TKK chicken, but the boba and fries were delicious. Iwas curious about their nata jelly, so the staff gave me a tiny bit to try. The staff here was amazing, and I'm happy to givethem a full 5 stars! We will definitely be back for lunch! Read more
I always prefer Kungfutea over other tea places in town. You can taste the tea flavor and sweetness is just enough for me. They... always have new and seasonal drinks. An addition of the fried chicken is just icing on top of the cake?Their flavor is verydelicious and chickens come out crunchy and juicy inside. It was quite busy today but foods came out in good timing. Workers arevery friendly and the place is clean. I was wondering that there is no parkings but found out you can actually park on the sideof the building where the garage is?I think this place is a great gem in the campus area. I really enjoyed the drinks. I also ordered a family meal (6 piece chicken with 2 sides and biscuits). The chicken was great;... however it took 30 minutes to receive my meal. There was only one order ahead of me. They got their meal before me, in additionto several people who came in after me. Not sure if my sides took so long or what. But, I'd definitely recommend ordering aheadif you're short on time. Read more
Yay! Finally a Kung Fu Tea in Lexington. My family and I are from NY. So there was literally Kung Fu Tea across the street and... down the the next block. When we moved to Lex, it was one of the luxury we missed (LOL). Now that they?re here, we?re so happythey even brought the TKK Chicken because not all KFTs have them. Everything was great (standard of all Kung fu teas Isuppose). Chicken was a bit salty but it pairs well with the boba so I would recommend getting a combo. The space is alwaysnewly done, clean with lots of open space and outlets perfect for students to stop by for a quick bite. UPDATE: They repliedsuper quickly and helped me to find parking! Love the Honey milk tea, specially! I like the fact that they even have 120% sweet option, overall great location to open the... store. Only problem is the parking situation around, it?s right across a busy road! Good for students for a quick drink by walkbut not for someone who is planning to drive up from little far place.
