The food was really good and authentic, the issue why I didn't give it 5 stars was simply because they promote a lunch buffet... which was $12.99 not a bad price however they don't keep it full or anywhere close to it, there were only like 2 items besidesrice and beans and everything else was empty. I was there at least an hour before the buffet was over and they only refilled onemain dish, I really wanted to love it but with drink and tip costing $20 I'll pass until they can keep the buffet full. Great little spot for authentic Mexican tacos and drink. Open mic comedy every other Tuesday, and the shows have been solid with... a great audience. Staff is friendly and quick and the tacos are legit. Check them out! Read more
This was without a doubt one of the best dining experiences I had! The service was quick and the place wasn?t crowded. Our food... was fresh and absolutely delicious! I love how simple the menu layout is, and it wasn?t traditional style Tex mex like I?m usedto. This is the only place I know of that one can enjoy a good bowl of menudo and the lengua tacos were delicious as well. This is... Authentic Mexican food like my mother would cook. Couldn't recommend Maria's kitchen more, but if you're the type that thinksthat what the other restaurant serves is authentic, I'm here to tell ya, no dice. This place is the real deal. Go there for lunch often. My favorite is the two taco special beef barbacoa. Love it!
