Sure was one of the Delightful & Cool highlights of my visit to Kentucky ????. The food at Miyako...just WOW. There are new... Chef's now, they were superb. The Service was outta this World. I am sure the hibachi side is great too, however I really can'tsay. Love the atmosphere so much up front, I really have never experienced it. Good to see old Friends! Read more

My sister had been here before and took me there to get our parents something good to eat. The food we ordered was delicious and... we got ourselves one dessert to split and some Thai tea. Staff was friendly and very accommodating, even at a very busy time. Two thumbs up on this one I'll be back! Read more

We arrived for an early Saturday dinner, so weren’t overly upset that there was a wait for a chef. We enjoyed the sushi, soup... and appetizers that arrived more than 40 minutes prior to the chef. However, the food was so salty it was almost inedible, lobster was burnt, the chef miscounted the number of chicken breasts so that 20 minutes AFTER the table was cleaned chickenarrived from the back for 2 of the 4 guest. We didn’t know the other couple at the table, but when she asked for additionalyum yum sauce, the chef declined saying he was out—and our very absent waitress was only able to bring it after the guestasked her at the very end of the meal when the chicken was served from the back of house! While we’ve visited regularly foryears, the lack of care and courtesy, as well as the nearly inedible food moves Miyako to a “doubt we will be back” rating. Read more

We came last Saturday afternoon at 3pm, we had a reservation. Though it wasn’t too busy, I would recommend making a... reservation because if it was that busy at 3pm I’m certain you’d be waiting otherwise if you came for dinner. Greetedpromptly, sat at a table where we waited on 4 more people to be seated. Drink order and sushi order came first which wasincredible. The sushi pictured is their monkey brains roll. It has all of the great elements in a roll you’d want: some warm, some cold components, avocado, and crab, plus a crunchy fried exterior topped with a glaze and a spicy Mayo. Hands down myfavorite sushi roll I’ve ever had! The chef came and he was great he was really friendly and made our chicken hibachi andsteak hibachi. Both were well seasoned, came with 2 shrimps on the side, as well as side salads and soup. The soup was bland inmy opinion but it’s not what I came for so that’s here nor there. We decided on the steamed rice to take the healthier routethan the fried rice but watching him cook the fried rice we knew we made a mistake lol but the fried option till cost you anextra $2. All in all our experience was nice and I would like to come back and eat here again, try more sushi options, andenjoy the entertainment. Read more

Efficient and unobtrusive staff. Good quality food. A touch pricey. (The table service hibachi and the kitchen version are the... same price?) Read more
